A Couple of Cards I Did Yesterday

Hi you all :) I went to a virtual crop over the weekend with the girl that runs the Sketches in Thyme blogs
What a blast! we did fun games and lots of challenges :) and here are 2 of the cards that I did get a chance to make for the challenges:
Pink, Black, ribbon/twine, sequin/bling, and stamp challenge:
A card for my sweetie :)
The inside of the card will hold some special little notes of love to my hubby. I used my current counterfiet kit for pink paper, the ribbon came from my ribbon stash and the fun brads came from a collection of odd brads in my stash :) It feels great to be using up old stash.
The other challenge was Black & White, not something I typically do but the Scrappin N Chattin yahoo group's week challenge was a sketch so that help make this a fun card to create :)
A birthday card for one of the boys in the family :) The stringed bow made me think of a string around your finger and that really helped me to decide on the type of card I wanted to do and then I found that 'a little reminder' stamp and thought that was a perfect way to start the front of the card sentiment :) The washi on the card for the top and bottom borders came from my current counterfeit kit.
The inside stamped and ready to go :)

  1. I am loving both of your card Tina! The Valentine's one is perfect for your sweetie. I think I am still going to make Dwayne a card, how can I not when I always have? Your black and white card might have been out of your comfort zone, but it turned out really great! I love how you used the tags to tie together, that is a cool look and it does remind one of a string tied around the finger. Makes for a great birthday card. Hugs, Brenda

  2. Nice cards, I like the tie between the two tag tops in that second one. Fun!

  3. Great cards Tina. I need to remember to tie the tags together, love the way they turned out. The inside of the pink card looks like some of the Luxury stack - I just about have my all used up.
