CKC-March Kit Reveal-Florally Whimsy

Happy March! So glad to see February gone and welcome to the sun and hopefully warmer temps this month. Good Morning and welcome to March's Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. You should have come to my stop from Margie: Margie's Blog, I'm looking forward to seeing what she came up with for her kit :)
Creatively, Susan has created a fun kit for our inspiration this month. She put it together based on the formula Jill Sprott used in her stash-busting challenge series.  You can read all about Jill's concept and formula here on her blog. I'm gonna have to go check out that formula :)
I just loved the earthy tones going on with this kit. I was drawn to the florals and the geometrics too and such sweet colors. So I went into my 100 pattern paper pile and come up with my kit

Florally Whimsy

I tried to stay with in the colors that Susan had, finding lots of papers in my pile that worked. I added lots of hearts and stars and some textures too.
My papers :) sorry about the sun coming through the curtains :) but so glad to see it. Going with blues, teals, golds, black n white, stripes in a variety of ways and diagonals too, Lots of florals, wood grains, dots, few words and grabbed a few scrap papers too. I come to find out I'm in need of vellum not many left in my stash.
Alphas: Seem to be drawn to browns this month and a couple of ones I would like to get used up if possible
Washi tapes, wood veneer, die cuts, chipboard, and grab those metal edge frames when I saw them they reminded me of the tags Susan had in her kit.
Felt, lots of die cuts and some puffy too with some twill I had gotten at Christmas time wrapped around some gifts :)
Thank you for stopping by today and now your off to instagram to see what kind of cool kit Laura has created from this sweet inspiration over at her instagram spot
and if you get lost here is the whole list:

  7. Lots and lots of pretty stuff to use up! I love the natural tones you've brought out. As for not having any vellum in your kit - you need to fix that! I love my vellum and it's so useful!
