Cozy Autumn Days :) October Counterfeit Kit Blog Hop

Happy October to you! This month brings many scrappy things for me to do, but with my newest Counterfeit Kit: Cozy Autumn Days it will be easiest enough to do. Welcome to the October Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop. I'm delighted to be asked to be Guest Designer this month over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog, this is my 2nd time and I had blast the first time and I prepare to have a blast this month! Bethany and I have more things the same than just a love to craft we also share the same birthday month so a shout out to her: Happy Birthday Bethany :)
Our inspiration for this month was a bit different than the usually kit choice, but I sure did have fun with it :) We were to work with a case file from C.S.I.: CSI Casefile 365-9

This was fun way to create a kit this month :) The scheme produced the colors that I used for my kit, the evidence produced most of my embellishments and stamp ideas for my kit and the testimony will give me ideas on how to use my kit. Cozy Autumn Days:
Cozy Autumn Days brings a bit of cooler weather to the Northeast, so we use our wood stove to take off that bit of the chill in the morning. The days also bring changes as we see the bright colors of the flaming foliage taking place. That is what I though of when I seen this kit :) so lets see what is in that pile of goodness that is on the cookstove:
I focused my kit on the color scheme and that the scheme had a fall flavor to it. I brought is some darker red to the kit too as we have that here with some of the color changes in the foilage I have many things to scrap this month so made sure the kit was large enough for that.
Cardstock that I pulled to have handy, as I consider my cardstock to be accessible when I need it I have it available to easy grab and not searching for the right colors
My choices of Aphas this month has a couple of thickers, a Bo Bunny sheet, an Echo Park sheet and a couple from Simple Stories sheets. I did find this fun monogram alpha set in my drawer that thought it would also go well with the kit.
The extras the represent the fun of the kit:
Washi tape and ribbons, a fun stencil I found at a yardsale this spring that just fits this kit.
Few of the chosen stamp sets, a variety of inks, the metals that the evidence called for.
Fun stickers from Echo Park, Simple Stories, some dazzles sheets, stickers and journaling tags from Bo Bunny.
More things from the evidence file: watercolors, string aka bakers twine, enamel dots, dazzling hearts, Heidi Swapp stencil and leaf sequins.
The rest of the chosen stamps and the mists with a grey paint dauber added for some fun with the stencils
The transportation accents that the evidence called for :)
under the testimony this is the adventure that I want to document :) The day we spent in Altoona at the Railroader Museum.
That is it for me today, I hope you consider joining in with us this month for this fun case file to counterfeit. I would like to congratulate Susan, Clair and Kelly the 3 newest Mater Forgers :) Your next stop is Lynnette's blog she's got something sassy to show you :) and if you get lost along the way here is the whole list of hoppers:

  12. Here's hoping that now I'm back on the laptop (instead of my phone) that I'll be able to leave a comment. Tried on the commute, but it just wouldn't work for me!

  13. Applause! Love the clever use of the woodstove to present your counterfeit kit :D Your thorough trip through your kit & the inspiration really helped me see how much thought & care you put into your selections! I'm afraid I was very lax in my reveal this month. FAB kit!

  14. Whooopppeeee! That's quite the kit! I love to see these larger kits and am always amazed to see them used up (unlike my own enormous kits which have sat on my shelf all year!). I love the feel of the colours and elements you've pulled together here and the presentation on the stove is lovely.

Thanks for being our GD this month - you are awesome! And I hope you had a wonderful Birthday!
