You should have arrived from my friend :) Lori's blog My Happy Life, I know she'll have something fabulous created. For my Summer Fun layout I went back to my youth and back to a LOAD217 layout. Summer growing up meant trips to the beach and we went to Wildwood, NJ quite often. Besides the photos I also used some of the memorabilia my Mom had gathered up :)
This was such a cool find to come across when I found all this stuff from one of the years were down to the beach. So I found the pictures that went with and created this fun double page layout.
Some close up picture of the layout:

This layout came about from LOAD217 DAY 8: Poseidon What is something you do better than others? What competition would you win or lose?

I included both the Sea for Poseidon and the Mini Golf picture for the competition. Old pictures from my Mom's slides (some are a bit washed out) We usually take a summer vacation to Wildwood, NJ every summer when I was younger and found lots of pictures, but so far this is the only one I found with me playing Mini Golf, I'm very competitive now but back then it was for fun and maybe a bit of competition with my brother. Sadly I didn't find a card with his name on it but I did find this one and I know that was the Skyline Golf on the Hunt's Pier as are all the pictures taken by night on the Hunts Pier.

Well that's it I'm our last stop on this fun blog hop and if you are just now getting here first then you want to go to Use Your Stuff and start at the beginning :)  Thanks for stopping by :)

Here is the list for the hop in case you want to stop along the way or get lost

  1. I love seeing your layouts and the fact that you save and use memorabilia is just great. This is another great double layout using memorbilia you have saved or Mom saved from the past so great to have a home for it all on layouts.
