Emily's 1st Jack o' Lantern

Oh my I'm a bit late with my posting of this challenge so sorry :) The bug really threw off my whole schedule. This layout was made using the current double page sketch over at Stick It Down:
My Great Granddaughter Emily's 1st :) Such sweet pictures that come across my Facebook feed that I had to scrap them :) Here is the sketch I had to work with:

This sketch was a bit different for me and I was struggling with what I wanted to scrap with the sketch till I seen these photos in my current print order I knew that they were the ones for this :) So glad to see the clustering in the bottom of the left side :) It helps us that aren't so skilled at this technique. My background paper came from my current Counterfeit Kit: Color Splash and I used scraps of pattern paper from the January kit besides alot of Halloween theme product :)
The left side has a sweet photo of Emily with the pumpkins before they got started and the one final one that Daddy carved for Emily made for a cute title for the layout. That Jack o' Lantern cut was RAKed to me and I've been hoarding them :) fun die-cut in the cluster with a fussy cut out heart.
The right side had Little Emily helping Mom and Dad cleaning out the pumpkins so cute ! I carried some of the pattern papers over from the other side and added that heart paper to this side :)
Some close ups of the layout
I had fun sprinkling star sequins and enamel dots in various places on the layout :)
The ghosts on both pages I got in an old cut swap group and thought they looked great on this layout :) The journaling was done on a scrap of the chevron paper this is the opposing side. A fun sketch to do :)
Love to see your creation up on the linky for the blog :) You have until the last day of the month at 11:59pm to upload your layout and/or card. And:
Welcome to the world Emily's sister Ava Elaine :) The Great Grandgirls are taking over in the Great Grandkids department :) Thanks for stopping by :) I wish you all a great day today :)
