Sightseeing layout

Hi, if your looking for Jo's Funday Friday post you cane find it here

Good Afternoon, today I have LOAD514-Day 7. The theme for Wednesdays are Something Random so you just don't know what might be coming for a prompt :) today's prompt is Most Wonderful Time of the Year. My favorite time of the year is spring and I had already recently done a layout about spring, so I decided to do one about one of our travels-summer is my 2nd favorite time of the year.
This is I think our first overnight trip since our honeymoon in 1993, the date that we went was Aug 7/8 2004. Dave had heard about the show from a friend he worked with (this isn't from the show). This layout will be a 2-pager as soon as I get the other page done, but this was a side trip on the way home, Dave planned to see a bit more of northwestern, PA while we were in the area.
The layout is based on a scraplift from this challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap: Lift it! The blog hosting the scraplift and the challenge is at Jennifer's blog: Live the Moment here's a piece of the layout to see more you'll need to check out her blog

I had a lot of fun lifting this layout and I think this maybe the first time I did the pennants on the layout. I also based my layout with the RAINBOW theme over at Counterfeit Kit challenge #4
I think that it fits with that challenge, I'm sure they will let me know if it doesn't.
My back ground papers were from last month's kit and I mixed it this month's kit with the pennants made with the old masking tape I found in Rainbow colors, more of the tape scattered around the page.
3 pictures from the day in the layout, the title ad the pocket cards came from me&my Big ideas themed packs on vacation.
I really thought this card was perfect for the train that we had road on. I also used candy dots from Stampin Up these are the brights set. The stars scattered about came from the Jolees bling pack I used the other day on  a layout.
The paper of the man that once lived in the house we saw was in with my memorabilia stuff from the trip and thought this was perfect for the layout :)
Thanks you all for stopping by once again today and enjoy the weekend :)
