Baby Buggy Shape card for Creative Cutting Challenge

Good Morning you all :) As I am writing this we are getting another cold day and another cold week, they are talking negative temps again tomorrow morning. I hope this is the final brrrr week as February is coming to an end. The theme today over at Creative Cutting Challenge is Baby!  I have made a shaped card from the Baby Buggy cutting file, here is the card I made:
I just love this file :) You can find the file at Cut and Create: Baby Buggy

Baby Buggy
The card was made with papers and cardstock from my stash. I inked up the white with SU Baked Brown Sugar ink, found this real pretty clam shell type paper when I was looking for the gold cardstock. the yellow Baby was cut from textured cardstock from a Baby paper pad. I added the button with some CTMH baker's twine and to the wheels I added the Ice Stickles that is in my current kit.
This is how I made it into a card:
This is where I welded it and how it looks opened. Love the welding feature in the cameo software just real easy to use.
this is the card base closed.
You all have a fantastic day and stay warm.......

Ravioli

Good Morning you all and it's Sunday a day dedicated to Lasting Memories. The challenge this week is Food Selfies. Yep that's right we take selfies all the time now so we should have some of food or with food, so please join in and have some fun with us.This is the layout I did for the theme lots of selfie pictures on this 2 page spread:
It was fun to find these pictures and knew these were perfect for the theme. We got a food selfie being mixed, being rolled and filled. Food selfie of being cooked and the finished product, yep it's the right ones for the theme.
The left side has the process of making the raviolis with Brad and Katherine
The right side has the cooking of it, some games while waiting and eating them YUM!
I used some pieces from the Maggie Holmes ephemera pack: the pennant piece with the date of the photos and the day. Used a variety of Alpha stickers to spell out what was taking place on this page.
The ravioli is clip art I found awhile back and printed on a sticker and used for the title.
This page has the process of cooking the ravioli
Playing some liars dice while we wait. The dice sticers came from Paper House productions. The red rhinestones finished off that pack of stickers:) The ticket came from Maggie Holmes pack too, thought it made a nice addition here and the right color too :)
The stir and delicious cut outs came from the Recipe Time scrapbook kit.
The family favorite came from the Recipe Time scrapbook kit, the frame came from the Maggie Holmes pack and the treasure sticker came from K&Company Engraved Garden embossed stickers.
It was a fun family day we got to share a love of ours to a new family member. A day that hasn't been forgotten and mention time and again during get togethers, remember when.....
So that is my take on the challenge and I look forward to seeing your take on the challenge.

Enjoy the Ride

Good Morning :) I came home today to a skunky dog! I thought they hibernated in the winter but I guess not. So up in the tub he went and with a peroxide/baking soda/dawn mix got it all washed out. Poor Buddy, just hope he doesn't get a chill today at all.
The layout that I did for Day 10 of LOAD215 was off the prompt of large photo and little text. So I followed a scraplift in the yahoo group I'm in and here is what I created:
A very simple layout today. I took a large picture, some paper that pertained to the picture and a embellishment, that is it :)
This was a group picture taken at Perry County's Old Iron Club show. I matted it with a scrap of red pattern paper and added the sticker I think that came from Simple Stories Awesome sticker sheet
You can see me in the back in front of my husband he's wearing the red hat holding up  the corner of the flag
I got some fun farm paper way back so cut it up for this layout :)
The tractor riding sign came from a pack of die-cuts that I have on farming attached with a couple of silver brads
The background paper came from the Gilded Paper stack and made a nice backdrop. The letters MGCA is from an October Afternoon: Schoolroom Alpha sticker sheet. The writing was done in red pen. The names of the individuals in the picture is on the back of the layout.

Quick easy layout :) Stay warm, we've got a bit of a freeze coming in today that is really going to make tomorrow one of our coldest days yet. So guess I'll be in the house crafting all day tomorrow. You all have a fantastic day :)

Once Upon A Time

Good Morning :) Wow halfway through the week already, February is just flying by :) This is the Layout from Day 9 of LOAD215, it was a Monday and the theme is Family Favorites. The prompt was: A fairy tale that has special meaning to you:
This has to be the quickest layout I've ever done :) 1 hour thank goodness for the sketch:

I used the sketch at My Scraps & More Sketches this is sketch #99. This is also for Counterfeit Kit: Challenge #1: Invisibles and Clear Cuts: I used the one vellum piece in my kit on the layout to diffuse the floral background of the background paper.
Halloween 1973 I dressed up as a princess. We went to Florida the past summer to Disney World and I guess that made an impact on me that year :) Even got to wear eyeshadow that was a big deal!
I used mainly the papers from the DCWV The Gilded Paper stack, but pulled in this 6X6 crown paper I got in a swap, also some leftover paper from the wedding layout I did earlier in the month. I used a sticker from the Brenda Walton; Chloe Die-cut Alphabet (has a variety of scattered words and art on the sheet too)
A chance to bling up the layout with this theme :) I added a recollections Boutique Fleur silver rhinestone embellishment and the gold rhinestones scattered about came from the gold jewel border. AC Taffy thickers and the EK Success silver glitter alphas for the title.
Brought in the pink journaling block from the current kit to balance out the pin on the page.
This was such a fun layout to do and so glad I found that picture :) I'm not sure how the dress came about, but I do remember making that crown :) Snow White was my favorite Princess at that time :)

Raising Tina

Good morning to you :) This layout is from Day 8 of LOAD 215 it was a Sunday and the theme was your own story. The prompt was: If your story was a book what would the title be? I came up with: "Raising Tina"
why that do you ask? Let me show you:
I used DCWV the Gilded Paper stack for majority of the paper other than the blue and that white diamond paper.
Pictures of me with my Mom and with my Dad, journaling block and a clock to represent the time through the ages.
My Dad showing me how to slow dance at my cousin's wedding I was along side the picture I added a few words with definitions: journey, create, happiness and dream all the words I consider my life has lived by. Yep there were struggles and tough times but I think these 4 were around more often that the bad.
A picture of me and one of our cats, me pregnant and Kevin my middle son in the stroller. The title was done with the Gold thickers and the black and white blocks (not everything is black and white :)
My later years when I had my business on the road and the last picture is hopefully my final work stop in my life. The camera, frame and happy tag came out of the Maggie Holmes ephemera pack.

So the question on the Title "Raising Tina" that came about with the question: When do we ever grown up? Always learning new things. I may have been raised by my parents but still to this day I am raising myself. The definition of Raise: verb: 5A: grow, cultivate 5B: to bring to maturity (have I really matured yet? I don't think I have so that means I am Raising Tina!
You all have a fantastic day!

Tristan & the Christmas Gift

Good morning and Happy President's Day:) I got the night off lat night for the holiday so it was fun to kick back and watch some TV and got to watch the SNL 40th Anniversary show, was so fun to see the old clips :)
So this layout is from LOAD Day 6: The theme of the day is a topic sentence or subject and reinterpreted it for our scrapbooks. The sentence was: Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
Tristan & the Christmas Present trying & trying & trying to open it. Tristan our youngest grandson, just started walking right around Christmas time it was good to see :) Well Pap Santa gave him one of his gifts and took off trying to open it by his self and was so fun to see this unfold. By the 5th picture he was more interested in the paper that in the gift and Mom had to help him open. But the new one year old wanted and did well by himself
I had used the sketch at Let's Scrap but since posting it late I didn't make the link up in time. But it was the perfect sketch to use for the 2 page layout:

The left hand side has part of the title and 3 of the pictures and journaling
The right hand side has the rest of the title and 3 more pictures
The journaling block came from a cut out of a sheet of cutouts. The background paper is one I bought at a yardsale over the summer. The deco tape arrows was in my December kit and the washi tape arrows is in the current kit
The pattern paper that the pictures are on is from the DCWV Stack 8 and I used the presents that were cut from the same sheet as the journaling block.
The title was made from various Alphas and daisyd's cardstock sticker sheet. The arrows along the bottom of the washi tape came from a sticker sheet and some cutouts from the jellibean package of cutouts in my kit this month.
The rest of the title on the right hand page came from alphas in last month's kit, this month's kit and some typed up labels from my brother labeler.
Thanks for stopping by today and have some fun if you can :) You can find me in my little corner of the world....
