Good morning and welcome to the 2nd card sketch over at Sketch N Scrap challenge blog. I just loved this card sketch from Lisa and used it for a lovely Thank You card for my granddaughter.

I flipped it, but kept the image part and sentiment in the same place.

Used some scraps from my May counterfeit kit :) and the flower diecuts from my current counterfeit kit. Thanks for stopping by today to see what I created and can't wait to see what you create from this cool sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog.

Love the Ones You're With

Good morning and welcome :) I received most of my December/Christmas pictures in the mail Friday, so look out! The December Daily will be a common site on the blog! for this month as I get creating and getting it finished by the end of January. Probably a few layouts for the Christmas Album too, as there were alot of pictures ordered. Something how the holidays and events bring about the most pictures and so hard to decide which ones to keep and which to let go! But with the kids and the grandkids there are lots of separate visits all tied up into one month.
Today though is Sunday and it's a Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge, January we are focusing on using up some of that forgotten stash. Our second challenge of the month is:

LM 326 - Buttons, Bling, and Brads - use a little, or a lot, use just one of the choices, or use all three!

I used bling and I finished up a pack of stickers too that was in my stash:
Dave with his granddaughter Astacia :) Love this picture and my hubby is 6'4", means Astacia is getting a bit tall.
I love the greens in my current counterfeit kit: Glacially Toasted. the steampunk style butterfly stickers was a great addition to the layout and a nice touch of bling too.
With the last butterfly in the pack I also made a Thank You card:
Used some rubons on this card and ribbon too. I like that I saw someone said about making a card with the leftovers after creating a layout and put that into practice right away.
The inside of the card is ready for the inside sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your scrapbook layout up on Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge.

Thank You for Funday Friday

Good Morning :) As we are getting closer to Thanksgiving we start to reflect on what we are thankful for. As I am thankful to God and my Family, I'm also thankful for enjoying such a wonderful hobby in papercrafting. I've met so many wonderful friends along the way, some in person and most on the internet. This hobby has drawn out the creative side of me one that I enjoyed as a kid and was so glad to the friends that turn me to it again. There is joy in this hobby, remembering old memories, creating new memories, sending beautiful messages in the mail and to talk to people that get you! Thank you to all my blogger friends, thank you to all my Design team owners and DT sisters, thank you to all the scrapbook challenge blogs to keep my creative artistic self challenged and to the many of the crafty groups I belong to on facebook and yahoo for you are the ones that motivate me, challenge me and encourage me.
Today's Funday Friday over at Jo's Scrap Shack and this week's theme is "Gratitude" Our sponsors are Bugaboo and Little Blue Button Stamps:
I made a clean and simple card this week, letting the digi stamp take center stage on the card, such a pretty stamp from Bugaboo: Make it Snappy - Beauty of nature
Make it Snappy - Beauty of nature
For our Scrappin N Chattin yahoo group card challenge this week we were to use a card for inspiration. That card inspired me to give this card a window frame look and this digi stamp was perfect for that with the outside scene. I did my first hand at water-coloring the card (haven't done any water-coloring since I was a kid :) it was very fun to do.
I found the sentiment cut in my swap cuts, it was done with the cricut imagine. Thank you for stopping by today :) I hope to see your creation soon linked up at Jo's Scrap Shack

Spring Thank You Card for CCC

Good Morning :) I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I sure did, lots of crafting, catching up on blogs, emails and facebook and lots of resting too. Today's card is for the Creative Cutting Challenge Spring theme challenge:
When I think of spring I think of the flowers that are starting to bloom, it's always nice to see the crocus peak out from the snow to show there beautiful color. What better way to say Thank You than with a Bouquet/Vase of pretty flowers. This is one of Creative Point's newest svg files:
Build A Bouquet
You got all the fixins for a really cute bouquet. It sized down perfectly for a card front too. I thought a thank you would be a good way to use this card.
I tried something new in my Silhouette program, by duplicating the vase and then doing a release compound path you then get the solid image. So I used that solid image to cut some vellum to represent water in the vase :) I really like how it came out and it's good to learn something new. I used the orange ribbon in my current counterfeit kit with some sequins and a SU Teeny Tiny Wishes set for the sentiment and the banner is from the Echo Park Sweet Day sticker sheet.
Love that you can use all kinds of scraps to make the flowers for the stems. Various papers from this month's counterfeit kit. I popped up the flower heads with foam tape and added a pink sequin to the one flower's center.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see your creation over at Creative Cutting Challenge here are the details of the challenge:

Now we're ready to see YOUR  SVG (or similar) creations.
PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU ENTER THE CHALLENGE:

MOST IMPORTANT RULE:  You MUST use a SVG or similar electronic cutting file in your project.  CRICUT CARTRIDGE ONLY ENTRIES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE.  Please make sure that you mention somewhere in your post what part of your project was created with a cutting file.  Entries that do not fit this basic requirement will be deleted.

Buddy Thank You for Funday Friday Challenge

Good Morning you all and welcome, it's Friday and that means it's a Funday Friday Challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack :) Today the theme is Anything Goes and our sponsor is  Bugaboo Digi Stamp. I chose their Puppy enough reindeer digi stamp.
Oh is this just the most darling looking puppy :) A friend of ours sent a very large package of doggie treats for Buddy for Christmas and I thought this would make the cutest thank you card from Buddy.
I colored him up with my Bic markers and used smooch for the bells. I also used that SU dazzling details for the hat cuff and used it to sprinkle around lots of snowflakes. This stuff is just chunky enough to use for snowflakes :) I used 3 Twenty Crafts "Simple Sentiments" for the Thank You on the care that was stamped with SU Baked Brown Sugar ink.
Brought in some of the left over cut pieces to decorate the inside and stamped the thank you again in the same ink. Now it's ready for a little note from us. I used everything for the card from my stash, most of the papers came out of my dedicated dog paper drawer, but I did use the brown cardstock from last month's counterfeit kit for matting. I used the Spellbinders Classic Ovals Large and the Scallop version too for the cut on the front of the card.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you join us for the challenge. Stay warm.....Enjoy your Friday!
Now it's your turn to join in:

Heartfelt Thank You

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I'm the designer over at Card A Day Blog and the theme this week is Thank you cards.
This card was made in it's entirety with cricut cartridges other than the confetti type paper that was taped behind the hearts. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to make the card base (this cartridge has lots of fun card-bases on it) and the card mat. The Thank You sentiment came from the Artiste cartridge. The cardstock and pattern papers came from my January Counterfeit Kit. Love the red papers I chose for the kit because they have been perfect for the heart style cards this month.
I cut out the shape card on pg 37 at 5.5" and the decorative layer at 5.25" so the card would shadow behind it, added the confetti paper behind the hearts to emphasize the heart cuts. The thank you was cut from the Artiste cartridge on pg 65 at 2" in white cardstock same as the card base.
I brought the negative cut to the inside of the card, just need to add a little note and it's ready to go.
I have to give cricut credit working with Close To My Heart they came out with 3 great cartridges to use and so much crammed into them to be used on just abut any project.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to join in for the blog candy this week:
Oh yes their is some blog candy to talk about :)

Thanks So Much

Hi you all, this is a quick post of a card I did in Stampin up class last night that fit perfect for the ending of the theme this week over at Card A Day Blog! We Thank you all our viewers and followers for taking time to see what were doing and taking time to be in the challenges at Card A Day Blog and here at my own blog, Thanks So Much
This card is from my class last night so all the pieces are done with Stampin Up supplies. As you can see it's smudged with love. Guess I need to sit down and practice with the Stamp-a-ma-gig more to get a better hang of using it.
Since all the items were already pre-cut I'm not sure what was all used, but the darker ink is the same name color as the teal color cardstock, which give a really nice tone-on-tone.
Oh, Hello is the stamp set used on the card and the Bitty Butterfly punch. The butterflies were popped up. The chevron was done with the masking technique too.  Twill ribbon down the side with a piece tied in a knot for texture.
Not to bad, got to embrace the mistakes to get better. Lol I think that is the way it goes.

Thanks for stopping by today and seeing the view from my little corner of the world....

Merci

Good Morning! Thank You can be said in so many different languages but it all means the same thing. I'm the designer today at Card A Day Blog and the theme this week is Thank You.
I seen this card and thought what a cool way to say Thank You, so I scrap-lifted it.
Card base is black cardstock 4 3/8" X 6 1/4". The card front is from the Creative Memories Black & White and was cut from the Creative Memories Reminisce Accents Cartridge. I just got this cartridge and just couldn't wait to try it. It has some many elegant frames and borders, I can see this one being used alot like the elegant edges cart. Added a little glitter glue for some bling and it makes a great card for any situation.

Have a fantastic day and there is still time to get into the challenge! I provided the link below for the challenge and you can see the fantastic prize and the rules here too

A Quick Thank You

Hi and welcome to my blog, I'm the designer today over at Card A Day Blog and the theme this week is Thank You.
This is a quick way to thank someone and a personal thank you too. This is a A2 size card. White card base, dark green mat and a lighter green pattern mat. Used a white grosgrain ribbon for the center border. In the same dark green cut out the scallop oval from Elegant Edges. On white spotted paper I used the Cri-Kuts pens to write the Thank You and the oval was cut out of George and Basic Shapes. Now this is where having a Gypsy come in handy cause you can cut the oval and then go back and do the writing exactly where you want it. So much easier that trying to line it up for center point position. Another new technique for me using the Cri-Kuts pens. If you want some quick cards with some great backgrounds Elegant Edges is a great cartridge to have in your mix.

Thank You for stopping by today in my little corner of the world.
