Good Morning and welcome :) This week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog is All Creatures Great and Small - Create a project with an animal on
it...it could be the photo, the DP that you use, or some sort of
embellishment. I have created alot of Bird layouts since I love Bird Watching and this is one I made during LOAD:
From LOAD517 Day 3:
Prompt:
The Jazz Singer (talkies) – 1927
All the words! Tell a big story with lots of words in the journaling OR tell the story of a sound or quote you often hear.
I used alot of words in a variety of ways on my layout to tell the story.
I had used my April counterfeit kit: Spring Garden for this layout :) I think I found the inspiration for this layout on pinterest. Grabbing a piece of Cardstock (don't use often enough anymore) from my stash. I had fun creating the layout in a grid format with pictures and cutapart cards.
My journaling:
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation of All Creatures Great and Small over at Use Your Stuff Blog

Hello again :) if you are looking for the Use Your Stuff post you can find it here.
Some how this post was in draft mode :)
Good Morning and welcome to the Double Page sketch challenge over at Stick It Down. My layout is of a fun day helping Dave making Homemade Sausage. We do this quite often but this particular day I made sure to get pictures of what was happening.
and the fun sketch:
Dave doing what he does best :)
Fun place to add the date
The right side of the layout: Picture of me pushing the sausage through the grinder as Dave was filling the casings. This is how we do sausage

and the fun sketch:

I added a few more pictures than what the sketch had called for and that is what sketches are a starting point to get you going on your layout :)
The right side of the layout. The fun borders I created by cutting a piece of white paper the size I wanted and added the variety pattern papers to make the border and trimmed it afterward. I used some scraps from my counterfeit kit: Spring Garden, 2 papers from my 100 Pattern Paper challenge, and one cutapart sheet for the wordsDave doing what he does best :)

A Classic Happy Birthday for Funday Friday
Good Morning and welcome to today's Funday Friday challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack. Our Sponsor today is DigiStamps 4 Joy. I got blessed to get this fun classic car digi stamp and it was perfect for a Birthday card for the Hubby:
I use the sketch over at Mojo Monday for my card inspiration:
Here is a closer look at that digi stamp: Dad's Austin
I used Glitter Silver Wink of Stella to color up the chrome on the car and left the rest go as it is a classic and didn't want to lose that classic feel.
The inside of the card
Closer look. I used my last month's Counterfeit kit: Spring Garden for the card. the newest kit inspiration has the same feel with the blues and the greens so my leftovers will be a welcome to this month's kit.
Thanks for taking a look, I look forward to seeing your creation.

So the 1st exclusive sketch for the crop is:
Isn't this a fun sketch! and this is what I created with the sketch:
I found some old butterfly garland that has never been out of the package and now it is and made my circles on the layout. These are our crocus and came out for a peek in February.
My journaling
I used a metal clip out of 2008 making memories package finally opened and used :) butterfly came from a sticker pack, sticker and some enamel hearts for this cluster
Fun title with this sticker and another butterfly
I used paper from my April counterfeit kit: Spring Garden and the stickers I found while I was cleaning up my craftroom. Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation over at the crop :)

Good Morning and welcome :) Yes it's the 1st of May Wow! April went by very quickly as it seems as I get older te months just fly by now. Today is also the 1st sketch of a fabulous month over Sketch N Scrap. Fisrt I want to wish them a Happy 5th Birthday :) We've got a fabulous party going on all month over at Sketch N Scrap's Facebook page. A special group page just for this month's party too. It's here if you want to check it out, don't let the dates fool you it's an all month party (the 2 week thing is a facebook thing).
So the 1st sketch of the month is:
I just love the grid style look of the sketch and this is what I did with it:
I used some kraft paper for this layout and some scraps too. Avery he's almost 13 in this photo and he's really starting to get into photography. Starting with selfies and seeing some cool things on his walk with his sister that day. These are a few of the photos he took and more are to come of that day.
I had fun making the title cluster
and the journaling cluster
and the subtitle cluster. I used a very old Fall kit: Simple Stories Harvest Lane, found a baggie of stars to use and the fun word strips from this past month's kit: Spring Garden. Thanks for stopping by today and we look forward to seeing your creation linked up over at Sketch N Scrap.

Celebrate Spring for a Lasting Memories Layout Challenge
Hello :) We have been enjoying some great weather lately and Spring has finally arrived in North Central PA. Some days it even feels like Summer has arrived, yes the weather in PA can jump up and down quite a bit.
This is the last challenge for this month theme of Spring over at Lasting Memories. Haven challenged us this week with a color palette.
It wouldn't be spring without daffodils and we have a bunch this year. I took these pictures on April 6, 2017 while I was out and about taking pictures. These were the first of the daffodils to come up being out front of the house it gets the most sun:
and this is the color palette for the challenge:
Another fun cluster using a chipboard bird in the right color combination for the palette. Added the pearls too that are from my stash, not sure how I by past these when I put my kit together this month.
The bottom cluster and that pot of daffodils is from a sticker sheet that is just about finished

I found so many of the colors in my 100 Pattern Paper stack that I worked off 3 papers. I also broke open a new punch (one that was purchased before Christmas! me bad waiting that long to use it.) One that I think I'll be using quite often.
I used the No. 85 sketch over at The Memory Nest for my layout:

A fun sketch to use too :)
For the larger photo in the sketch I matted my photo with the Polaroid look and that gave me a spot to add some journaling. A fun cluster using pieces from this month's counterfeit kit: Spring Garden and some embellishments from previous kits. Another fun cluster using a chipboard bird in the right color combination for the palette. Added the pearls too that are from my stash, not sure how I by past these when I put my kit together this month.

The only neutrals things added to the layout the word strips and that wood veneer title. thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up too. I look forward to seeing your creation over at Lasting Memories Layout Challenges

Happy Birthday Jar card for Funday Friday
Good morning and welcome. today I have a card I made for Funday Friday over at Jo's Scrap Shack. Our sponsors this week are The Cutting Cafe and Di's Digi's
I made this card from The Cutting Cafe's Mason Jar set:
I have a Mason Jar cut on my card. This set is super cute and comes with all you need to make a variety of different Mason Jar cards, even a shape card. I cut out the hearts and balloons too. I used both chalks and stickles to color my pieces. I used my current counterfeit kit: Spring Garden for the fun red pattern paper for the card mat and the chipboard bow.
What you get with the set. In a variety of files to choose from for a variety of cutting machines.
Lots of fun details on the card.
The inside I did another mason jar and added flowers coming out of it with the birthday sentiment. The stickers are part of a sticker challenge over in the 100 Pattern Paper Challenge Facebook group.
Thank you for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creation linked up over at Jo's Scrap Shack.

A Spring Hello There card for Sketch~N~Scrap challenge
Good Morning and welcome to today's sketch challenge over at Sketch~N~Scrap. Today we have this fun sketch from Lisa to play with:
I added the rubons before adding the frame layer to it.
A closer look to the frame and the sentiment. I added a butterfly and some brads for the spots on the sketch. I used my current counterfeit kit: Spring Garden and a butterfly from last month's kit Social Butterfly. Just need to add a little note to the inside of the card and it's ready to be sent off in the mail :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation linked up over at Sketch~N~Scrap too.

It really does have a spring feel to it and so as I was doing my own spring cleaning this month I came across some fun frames and these cute rubons and some how came up with the idea to put them together for this card:

Easter 2016 for a Use Your Stuff challenge
Happy Easter to all my blogger friends, I hope your day was special.
This week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog comes from our DT sis Heather and her challenge for us is: I thought it would be fun to try and use some of them up. And not just one or two here an there, but I would really love to see you guys use eyelets or brads or both to make a shape on your layout.
So this is what I created for this challenge:
Our Great Granddaughter Emily last year after receiving her Easter Basket. Looks like she was enjoying all her gifts from the Easter Bunny. I used Eyelets in 3 different spots on my layout creating circle embellishments.
One for the Journaling spot and the Title on that layout. Emily certainly enjoys chocolate :) I used paper from my 100 Pattern Paper challenge. Used ribbon from the ribbon challenge in the same group and the eyelets were from last month's challenge in the same group. The word sticker and Alpha letters and numbers came from my current counterfeit kit: Spring Garden. I put together 4 different page kits yesterday from my kit but this wasn't one of them and went another direction for this layout.
Fun Easter bunny stickers used with the circles for a fun embellishment clusters
