Good Morning and welcome :) This is a layout from LOAD517 Day 9
Prompt:
The Maltese Falcon – 1941
Sam Spade is a great detective. Use clues in your prompt today to tell your story. BONUS: Use only black and white as your colours today in a tribute to the film noir genre.
I used Black n White for both my layout and my photos :) can't say I'm a big fan of the look but I did try it and was surprised how well it did turned out :) I think a color photo would have probably been better but this is how I learn what to do and not to do :)

 I used the one B&W pattern paper in my current counterfeit kit: Nature's Party and I also used a paper from my 100 Pattern Paper challenge, a scrap paper, a couple of project life cards and 2 washi tapes for my layout all in black and white. I sprinkled white enamel dots on the layout too. 2 black and white photos for the layout.
I used the sketch over at Sketches in Thyme May 8-14 sketch for my layout inspiration:

Usuing washi tape for the arrows and the stitching lines on the sketch.

and I found this photo of Waylon too from the previous year to add to the layout too. As the theme of the layout is Sabrina being a Momma and she is such a great momma to these 3 cuties :)

Your the Cherry on Top a Lasting Memories Layout Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to a new month of challenges over at Lasting Memories Layout Challenge, I'm your host this month for a fun month of challenges. The theme for this month is "June Holiday Insights" and our challenges will be based off of the more Bizarre, Unique and Special Holidays during the month of June. June is National Fruits and Vegetables month, so our first challenge for June is: LM #346 - National Fruits And Vegetables Month  - Use fruits and/or vegetables on your layout. This can be in the photos, in the papers, or in the embellishments, or all three!

My layout I used the fruit kraft paper I had out for the kraft paper challenge last month over at 100 Pattern Paper facebook group, I also used the brads that were in the challenge for the month of metals too :) plus washi tape for this month

“Mama always said life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” Tell about how everyday brings a surprise or a new adventure. What kinds of surprises are revealed daily in your life? how do you embrace each day for what it is?

 It's not so much the every day but to catch the surprise moments when they happen.

 Date night with the hubby can be a bit different than what most would consider a date night, but then these are the things we enjoy so our date night look a bit like this, added this heart for my love :)

A Birthday Card for the Sketch N Scrap Birthday Party

Yep that's right the party is still going on this month over at Sketch N Scrap's Event Page! It's their 5th Birthday and it's fitting to have a Birthday Card ready! Here is the exclusive sketch:

 

 This one is a keeper I can see this being used often for so many holidays. This is the card I created with it:

 I had fun playing with some washi tape for this card and love that I found this cupcake in my diecuts. A Birthday card for someone special :) But then they are all special.

 Here is the inside of the card, trying to use up some stickers I got years ago :)
