Winter Wonderland layout

Good Morning and welcome :) This is the other layout to the one I created and posted yesterday, this is the next day of the storm.
Can see pretty clear in the daylight we got smacked with a bunch of snow that November :) a 2 day storm dropped 10.6" of snow. Using up a CTMH collection Frosted collection, used the last of the pattern paper scraps when I created this layout. The paper is from 2013 and the pictures are from Nov 16, 2018.
My journaling sums up the last of my thoughts of the storm, adding a bit of washi here and there and some teal color shine splatters to finish off the layout. From my November Counterfeit kit: Everyday Insight just another insight to one of the days in my life :)
This was the last layout I created in 2019 :) finishing off the year with 204 layouts, 1 more layout than what I did the year before. Now the duty of sorting them and putting them away :) yes not the fun part of scrapping but something that needs done. Have a good day and I thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world.

BRRR layout for Use Yoyur Stuff challenge blog

Good Morning and welcome to the 1st challenge of the new year over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. We got some changes going on over there:

A new change for this new year as well...Our challenges will be running for 2 weeks each..that means there will only be 2 challenges each month (one from each team) rather than 4!

This challenge will run from Monday Jan 6th until Saturday Jan 18th!  Lots of time to get your entries in!  Enter as many times as you would like but please no backlinking and make sure that you tag UYS in your post for our challenge as well.

We have a super easy challenge to start you off...it's ANYTHING GOES!  Create anything you want - but try to use some of that older stuff you have in your stash, not the new product you got for Christmas!! :)

Finishing off 2019 trying to use up a CTMH collection Frosted I created this layout. The paper is from 2013 and the pictures are from Nov 15, 2018.

My journaling about the storm. I love the way this layout turned out and was so glad to get this collection bashed and out of my stash. From my November Counterfeit kit: Everyday Insight just another insight to one of the days in my life :)
This was the beginning of this storm and the pictures here are from the 1st day of it, I did a single layout of the next day of this storm, you'll have to come back tomorrow to see that layout. I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

CKC March Forgery-Stamped Scrapbook Background

Hello and welcome :) Today I'm here to show that if you don't have the most current trends in papers or embellishments it's easy enough to forge it and get a similar result.
It is no crime to create your own version of the trendy,
hip products from the inspiration kit using your own stash and ingenuity.
The inspiration that produced the forgery:
https://www.scrapbook.com/products/cache/SBC_ac-310618_20045_0.jpg
I thought the framed paper, Pink Paislee: Pick Me Up Paper 19, would be an easy one to forge knowing I had frame stamps that had yet to see any ink:
By using a white cardstock, these 2 stamp sets from Close to my Heart and a variety of inks I went to work creating
Using my Tim Holtz stamping platform (finally out of the box)
This is the background paper I created. Found it was easier to one stamp at a time vs 5 or 6. My imperfections can easily be covered up with photo or embellishments. Definitely something different for me but it was fun to create such a unique background.
For other inspiration check out what the other Master Forgers are doing over at Counterfeit Challenge Blog.

Inspiration Layout from and Inspirational Photo: LM #268

Good morning :) it is for just a wee bit yet somewhere in the world  :) I've been crafting all weekend at a couple of online crops holding fun challenges :) So Before I get back at it...... Lasting Memories has a new weekly challenge today to play along with. This is my layout from that challenge:
The challenge:
In keeping with the THANKFUL theme of the month... our next challenge is based on this inspirational photo.
LM #268 - Create a layout inspired by the below photo!!
Now remember... you can be inspired by ANYTHING from this photo.  Just mention it in your Title or Blog post so we can see what you did.  It can be the colors, a color, flowers, nature, the words, the font... anything you can think of.
So how did I come about this layout. I seen that flower before......yes, it looks like our white flowering dogwood tree. So that is where I started my layout.
Went to check the crop challenges I was doing over the weekend and checked out the flair button challenge for the Paper Issues crop challenges and knew that I had some summery buttons :) So glad that this, being a Thankful theme layout,  that there was the gracias button that I could use for the theme (Sweet!). Lets see how many more challenges I can do with this layout.... So I checked my other list from My Scraps and More Pinspirational crop challenge and used the Mood Board challenge for my color scheme. Let's see now I need a sketch so I found 2 to use:

this one from our Scrappin N Chattin group layout challenges and for that journaling card I used this past week's challenge over at  Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style The new challenge is posted this week, but for my card I used last week's challenge:
Sketch #2 designed by Maven Crystal

The mood board had a quote about my happy place so this smiley PL card fit the bill for that and I added the sticker alphas in a fun way along the card. A pennant, word sticker and another flair button to finish it off. You'll have to go over to Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style to check out this week's challenge.
So glad that I add ink into my Feast of Fun counterfeit kit and the PL cards too. I inked all the edges with CTMH chocolate because of that beautiful brown butterfly and when you have so many of the same PL cards it great to take one and cut it up for a Title piece :)
I enjoy and thankful for just to see the small things in my life :) Our walks about the property and on the old railroad bank is a perfect place to see nature in full glory :) You just don't know what your going to see and each walk is a new adventure, My Happy Place :)
and you all thought it was my scrap room ;) well that is my happy place too. Where is your Happy Place?
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm doing in my little corner of the world, I hope to see your creation soon over at Lasting Memories.
