Hello card for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

 Good Morning, January it's been a cold month here in PA. Lots of scrappy time then plus some organization time too, more organizing than scrapping though. We are changing things up over at Sketch N Scrap doing some throw back sketches with a twist with the end of month sketches. I chose to do sketch #114 from January 202018 for my card inspiration and the twist is to used either Birthday or Hello/Thinking of You on the card.

A Spring Hello There card for Sketch~N~Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to today's sketch challenge over at Sketch~N~Scrap. Today we have this fun sketch from Lisa to play with:

 

 It really does have a spring feel to it and so as I was doing my own spring cleaning this month I came across some fun frames and these cute rubons and some how came up with the idea to put them together for this card:

 I added the rubons before adding the frame layer to it.

A closer look to the frame and the sentiment. I added a butterfly and some brads for the spots on the sketch. I used my current counterfeit kit: Spring Garden and a butterfly from last month's kit Social Butterfly. Just need to add a little note to the inside of the card and it's ready to be sent off in the mail :)

Hello for a challenge card

Well it's down to 2 more posts and I should be done for the night :) Thanks for hanging with me today :) I made this card for the PI crop challenge for a Mood Board Challenge:

I really liked doing this card and the challenge was fun too. After finding the needed colored items in my Feast of Fun counterfeit kit to use from the mood board I then went off to find a sketch to use for my card and I got this from Stick it Down their card sketch challenge for the month:

The sketch made for a quick card for the challenges. Hello is a die cut for a SU Hello You Thinlits dies. I used Gold Lame smooch and painted it the needed color to match the card :)

Oh Hey! Funday Friday Challenge

Hi you all, it's Friday :) Well here in Williamsport, PA we are in the beginning of the Little League World Series at the moment with the games starting today. We are lucky to have PA represented in the series this year and the team looks great from what I seen on the internet. Now we'll have to wait and see what happens, but the traffic is going be crazy! With Little League Series comes tomato season here at the house so tomorrow will be harvesting, juicing and canning the juice to be saved for the winter to make the sauce. I hope you all have some grand plans this weekend too.
Today is Funday Friday challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack this week the theme is Lazy Days of Summer. Well here at our house with my husband's hobby there isn't many lazy days in the summer. So I chose a really cute digital stamp that goes right with our life in the summer. Our sponsor for this challenge is Little Blue Buttons Stamps: I made a card with LBBS digi stamp Gardening Charlie:

 I enjoyed putting this card together :) I used this fun digital stamp and colored her up with my bic markers. I also punched the corners with my fiscars punch and then added Orange Peel Ice stickles to each of the holes made from the punch. I enjoyed using the sketch over at Mojo Monday again this week for the layout of my card:

 I used my current counterfeit kit for the card. The papers came from the paper pad I added to the kit, the flowers and sentiment came from the BasicGrey rubons and added the 2 wooden veneer for movement.

 I brought the same papers and design in the inside of the card too. Added a couple more rubon flowers to the bottom corners. Thank you for stopping by and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world.

Hello Again for FFC It's Sketch Time

Hello and welcome to my blog, wow been 10 days since my last post. Only one thing happened while I've been gone our trip to Gettysburg, PA for the Minneapolis Moline Corresponder, Inc. (MMCI) Winter Convention. WOW what a show, but you'll see that in the near future while I make a few layouts of the show and the sightseeing. Speaking of sightseeing I went and investigated one local scrapbook store OMgosh! this store was fantastic! Lots of papers related to Gettysburg that I can't wait to play with and they also have some for the Flight 93 National Memorial too that we saw a few years ago that I been wanting to scrap and now have the right papers I'm thinking to scrap with. So now that I uploaded the pictures to my computer of the weekend need to decide how I'm gonna handle 893 pictures! yep that is right that is what I said! Lots to decipher and decide what to print and not to print (luckily probably a third are reference photos for some of the other pictures.
So enough about what I was doing and lets get to the Funday Friday project for this week. I stayed within the look of the sketch other than moving the bow down and the opposite side of the sketch. Such a fun sketch to use too. I used my current counterfeit kit for my card and brought in the silver chrome Viva pearl pen for the water and flower center on the stamp. I colored the stamp with both Spectrum Noir markers and Bic markers.

 I used the purple vellum in my kit for the Spellbinders Lacey Circles cut and then cut the stamp out with the Standard circles large cut. The purple and gold color combination is my favorite :)

 I used 3 Twenty Crafts: Strike a Pose stamp set for my sentiment that I stamped with memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of doily scrap pattern paper that was in a past kit. I used a flower stiker from a MS pack (so glad I added this pack to this month's kit :) and the AC twine. A super fun card to make :)

A Hello card for Anything Goes FFC

Good morning and welcome to my blog :) It's Friday and a special Friday indeed. Also it is Funday Friday too, the theme this week over at Jo's Scrap Shack is Anything Goes:

 I added CTMH liquid glass to the printout to make it look like a flair button and you really need to see it in person to see how pretty the details are of the art file.

Sunflowers Card for the Funday Friday Challenge

Hi you all :) Yay it is Friday! Let the crafting begin... Today I have a card that I made for the Happy Fall challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack. Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo and I chose this wonderful sunflowers in a vase digital stamp for my card today:

I used Mojo Monday's current sketch challenge for my card:
I gave my card a very whimsical feel the vase reminds me of a vase my Mom had on one of the end tables in the living room when I was growing up, so I tried to mimic that vase as much as I could remember. I used my current counterfeit kit for my papers and the washi tape border.

I heat embossed my flower petals with Stampin Up's Crushed Curry embossing powders which gave it a nice texture and I colored the rest of the stamp with my bic markers and outlined the blue vase with gold lame smooch.

The card is an A2 size in blue cardstock, added the orange polka dot for the background mat, used blue washi tape for the border and added a sticker from Simple Stories Harvest Lane collection for the sentiment. I think it turned out super cute and a fun card to send to my sister with a note and thanks for the birthday card she sent me and in hope it cheers her up. I used the ALLIE & ANGEL digi stamp for my card. All the papers came from last month's counterfeit kit. Yep still enjoying that kit. I colored her with my bic markers.

 Popped her up on 1/8" Glue dots. Added bling various places on the card

 I used Spellbinders S5-012 FRAMEABILITIES CLASSIC FRAME set that includes the frame and the flower. Some sequin trim I found in my stash.

 I used hello from the Strike A Pose stamp set and the heart is from the Personalize It stamp set. I used SU Brown sugar for the stamping and some dirtying up the stamp.

 The inside I brought in a few more of the flowers and did some doodling. I thought it might cheer up my SIL that just had heart surgery.
