5 Star Meal LO

I was having fun with my current counterfeit kit: Great Outdoors and with this fun sketch from Sketch N Scrap

I made this layout of us out and about Jan. 18 of this year. Stopping for a break to get a bit to eat :)

Stopping at one of our favorite restaurants in Shamokin Dam. I will normally get the same meal as I love it so much :) Dave always changes it up each time we go :) I had fun pulling different elements from my kit and the stars are what is left of a cut file I received.

Thanks for stopping by today to see what I created and can't wait to see what you create from this cool sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog.

New Birfeeder LO

Hello :) Calvinball layout today :) This layout was created over the weekend :) The pictures are new pictures I took Saturday and I finished up the layout on Sunday. Took some pictures yesterday that will be for some upcoming layouts this month too :) why wait a whole year to scrap photos when I can print at home and get the layouts done now!

This layout was created using Day 7 from Christys Beautiful Life series #30DSCBL7 and I got 15 points for Calvinball too. I used a cutfile from Kreative Cut club Nov 2019 kit

I used my current counterfeit kit: Teamwork for my layout pattern papers and such, found the apple diecuts in my stash in reference to the Green Apple tree that the birdfeeder is in.

Love This Ride layout- Counterfeit Kit Challenge #2

Hello and welcome to the 2nd challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog.
Challenge #2 - Getting Twisty and Sketchy

Continuing to use Citrus Twist Kits as our inspiration this time around, use this gorgeous Citrus Twist Sunday Sketch from 22nd April 2018 as inspiration for your project.

Place your own "twist" on it by rotating it, reversing, mirroring, turning it upside down, making it smaller or just doing your own "thing" to it - just don't use it as is!

Credit: Citrus Twist Kits Sunday Sketch with Kira #22

I turned the sketch once counterclockwise
This is just about always the last ride we do at Knoebels and it was nice to see the Frick Steam Engine as I don't think I ever seen that there before so it's nice the change up the scenery just a wee bit each year.

Using some of the softer nostalgia style paper that I had in my kit Just Bloomin' Lovely for the layout as the ride has been one we enjoy each time we go and a ride I remember riding as a kid too.
Plus the paper works well for the era of the steam tractor too. Next year well ned to investigate that steam tractor just a bit closer :) We hope you play along with us with this fun challenge this month :) Thank you for stopping by and seeing what I'm doing in my little corner of the world.

Footloose and Fancy Free for the Counterfeit Kit 2nd Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 2nd challenge over at Counterfeit Kit challenge blog. Susan has challenged us today with a sketch :) my favorite challenge is a sketch so easy to do and with the kit prepared ahead of time the hardest part is deciding which photos to use :) This was a very quick layout, I wanted to get away from vacation photos a bit and do some current photos that  took with my phone camera.
Here is the chosen sketch:
SOURCE
A fun sketch to use :) using papers, some washi tape, diecut title, felt doily and the wood veneers from my kit: Florally Whimsy this is what I did:
Buddy and I out for a walk, it was nice to get out and get some sunshine it seems to feel like a long winter right now.
Close up of the photo of us and my journaling. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you created for this fun challenge linked up at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog or over at their facebook group.

Adorbs layout

Good Morning :) I created this layout for Day 8 of LOAD218: Memory can be a fickle thing, Share a recent moment you should write down before you forget it :)
I wanted to make sure to document the new flower bulbs we got this past spring and so glad to add the name of it with a picture of it after it came up. Used my current counterfeit kit - Pretty Little Pastimes and the sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy :) So ready for Spring to arrive.

This sketch just makes this photo of the flower shine and love the colors of pattern papers I chose for it too
So cool to make good use of that word for the title of the layout :)
Close up of the flower it's been fun scrapping these flower pictures from last year, bring me a bit of spring to my long winter :)

My journaling :) Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world.

Winter Wonderland

Hello :) I did this layout last night and the storm was taking place Saturday :) One good thing about doing a layout a day is I can actually stay current with what is happening at the moment. This layout came about from 2 pictures: 1 of the storm and 1 of the cleanup. We got about 2.5" that day. Today another 3" of snow is making for more cleanup.
I used the sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy for my layout inspiration:
this is my interpretation of the sketch
I used just about all my snowflake paper in my current counterfeit kit: Sprinkle for the layout. Even used a paper to get my title for the layout and my cluster points.
 The journaling
close up of the pictures, the photo mats were something I received as a prize a long time ago and glad to finally get a good spot to use them :)
and that funky title I created with the paper, yes at the moment the property looks like a Winter Wonderland. Thank you for stopping by today checking out what I've been doing in my little corner of the world.

Never Giving Up layout

Hello again :) This is the 2nd layout posted today:
This was one of the stops on the Self Guided Historical Walking Tour of Downtown Williamsport. The First Presbyterian church of Williamsport, corner of Third and Mulberry streets, was organized, February 23, 1833. Previous to this time there was no church of this denomination in Williamsport
A congregation that never Gave Up (hence the title)
This layout I created this morning for the 100th Sketch over at The Memory Nest. Sadly this is the last sketch for the time being, I will be missing this blog as she always has awesome sketches:
More layering on this sketch :) I added it to my layout too. I used paper from my 100 pattern paper challenge pile. Close up shots of the layout:
The write up information from the tour
 My journaling
The title work. I added just sequin flowers with brads for my embellishment
2 different views of the church from the front side on 3rd Street and from the Mulberry Street side. A very large church. I would like to go inside some day and see what that looks like. On to the next stop of the tour.
Thank you for stopping by today ans see what I'm doing in my little corner of the world.....

Adulting Today layout

I created this layout from the help of LOAD1017 I've got a Secret Day2:
…to successful adulting document how you stay organized
Not the planner type girl more of the post-it, list it on a scrap of paper type girl. Used scraps from SS Daily Grind collection for the layout:
I also got inspiration for the layout from a sketch over at The Memory Nest #95
Love the layering of the sketch :) I'm not one for huge letters for a title, but I used the largest ones on the sticker sheet that came with the Daily Grind collection.

Close up of the pictures. We use a planner for our daily journaling
The title.
Thanks for stopping by today :) Will have the last sketch needed for the Fall Frenzy challenge over at The Memory Nest up in a bit :) Need to make 1st :)

To Cool For School

This layout was created from LOAD1017 I've got a secret Day 6: …pasta school memory:
This prompt brought back lots of memories and this is the one I chose to tell that day. Yes I did do that :) I guess I was in a stage in preteen year that I just didn't want to go to school. If I remember correctly thinking I was 12 when this happened cause I think Steve was still in school so either 12 or 13. Oh my did I get when Mom and Dad came home from vacation!
I got a bit of help with this layout from the Sketch over at The Memory Nest #97
What a fun sketch to play with :) I love to use sketches just makes my scrapping so easy :) and quick too. Something that is needed during LOAD month.
 My journaling
Close up of the title block and photo
I found this fun meme online to include in the layout :) Thanks for stopping by once again to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world :)

What's Cookin'?

Hello :) Getting some layouts that I did during LOAD1017 posted for the challenges that I made them for. This layout was from LOAD1017 I've got a secret Day 25: …talent – find something to scrap that people would be surprise to know that you are good at.
On prompted with a twist, it's not much of a secret about our cooking skills I've scrapped many foodie layouts in various prompts :) So just a couple of dishes we made this summer. I needed a quick layout today:
I had fun creating this layout and I got some inspiration help from The Memory Nest's sketch #98
I just had so much fun playing with this sketch.
Some close ups of the layout.

I had fun using embellishments for my title. Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world :)

Apple Blossom layout for Lasting Memories challenge

Hello :) welcome to the last challenge of this challenge series over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog. The theme is Scrapbook Cooking Time and this week's challenge is:
Recipe #4 is our challenge for this week:

LM#371 -  2 photos, 2 different fonts for title, 4 patterned papers, 5 buttons, 1 ribbon/trim/twine, 4 die cuts and sprinkle with mist.

1st I gathered up the needed supplies for the layout. So a small page kit is what I think when I look at these recipes. It's really I nice change of pace doing challenges like this:
This kit less the mist cause I ended changing the color mist to teal because of the letters I used created this layout:
After the snowy winter we had this year it's always nice to see the pretty colors of spring and the Apple Blossoms were really pretty this year and a bunch of them. I used the sketch over at The Memory Nest for my layout inspiration too:
https://thememorynest.blogspot.com/2017/11/make-it-monday-no-99.html
A really fun sketch to use for the layout, sketch #99.
My journaling and a cluster around the photo. The photos are from my phone and for some odd reason it took a better picture of the background than of the blossoms itself. It's fun to emphasize something different from the property each spring.
 More clustering
 More journaling
and my title work.Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog. 4 challenges that you can check out and do and were offering up a $20 gift card to an online store to one lucky winner, so get your layouts linked up over at  Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog by Saturday, November 25th for your chance to win!

Spring 2017 for a Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge

Good Morning :) It's been a bit chilly, actually down right cold in our area right now :) Frosty every morning and I'm not one that enjoys scraping windows!
This layout took a little bit longer than I thought and the interference of working over the weekend didn't help with my creative time :) But I got this layout done, being the hostess of this month's challenges over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog, thought it appropriate that I create a layout for each challenge. This is this week's current challenge
Our theme for November is "Scrapbook Cooking Time" and  our second recipe challenge is:
LM #369 - Create a layout and use the following "ingredients" on it - twine/thread, sequins, labels, die cuts, solid cardstock, and vellum.
You can always use other items, as well, but we must be able to see the items in the recipe on your layout:

Just some of the flowers that we grew this year :) some detailed layouts to come of the bulbs we planted this past year. For my layout I used the current sketch over at Stuck?! for my inspiration:
This is a great sketch and has alot of fun elements going on with it too :)
I was also able to include this layout for Scrapping 4 fun  has a tic-tac-toe challenge this month:

Using the 1st vertical row: Twine, Sequins, bling (thickers)

A couple of my favorite bulb plants :) I used a label with the word sticker adore on it. Sassy sequins, twine in the tag, solid cardstock for the overall page and matted the photos with and the vellum I found a fun word vellum in my stash says April showers ....bring May Flowers
The die cut I used I had gotten in a swap years back. Used a few letter stickers for the journaling part of the sketch
My journaling space says of the pansies that I got for a surprise from the hubby and the bulbs coming up in full bloom :) I added the couple of pansies flowers I made years ago in a scrapbooking class and so glad to finally get them used and out of my stash.
Thank you for stopping by today to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenge blog.
