Good Morning and welcome :) Worked the night shift last night a mandatory thing so a short weekend for me :) We have a new challenge for you this week over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenges, Lauren has asked us to Use a BIG title to document our BIG adventure.
This is a glittery big title for a big adventure around our Historic Downtown, a fun adventure for me down memory lane where I grew up and to learn more about my home town. I'll be on another walking tour next week too done by our local library so another fun adventure.
I used a fun title from Shimelle's line Go Now Go. This was created from LOAD517 Day 23:
Prompt:
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – 1986
What would you do with a whole day off?
This is what I did:
I don't get to many Saturdays off so I took advantage of the day and did somethings in the morning with Dave, but in the afternoon I went off on my own for awhile. A walking tour of out local Downtown. We have a rich history in Williamsport, PA and it was cool to take a day off and check out the walking tour of the old buildings that are Downtown. Growing up here I certainly appreciate seeing glimpses of my childhood with in the buildings that in itself could tell a story of a memory from the buildings. Old buildings and some new fixtures with in Downtown Williamsport made the tour very interesting. A lot more layouts from this tour to come as I scrap it.
My tour guide, a self guided tour through Historic Downtown Williamsport, PA
My journaling
This was cool to find along the way and a story to tell in another layout. The building across the street had that fun mural on it too. There is alot more to this adventure to come lots of photos to scrap.
I look forward to seeing what you create for this fun challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog.

Sweet & Salty
Good Morning and another layout coming at you from LOAD517 Day1:
One of my all time favorite snacks :) My mother started this for me when I was a child. She would do it and then I would do and now it's a favorite. I used the Recollections The Neapolitan collection for my layout and those fun Alphas from my last month's counterfeit kit: Social Butterfly.
The Prompt:
A Trip to the Moon – 1902
Use a product on your layout that creates a special effect.
I used the texture paste and the mist for the special effect:
It was fun and I really need to play a bit more often :)
For my layout inspiration I went directly to Let's Get Sketchy to see what their newest sketch was:
I left the opening for the photos and the side borders when I created the texture for the bottom mat on the layout. I did flip the photo mat to work with my photos:
Other close ups of the layout:
My journaling
close up of those pennants and that fun metal ice cream cone charm
My title cluster.
Thanks for stopping by once again to see what I'm up to in my corner of the world.

Traditions
Good Morning and welcome :) I've play along with a few sketch challenges this month and I better get them posted :)
This layout comes from LOAD517 Day19:
Prompt:
Star Wars IV: A New Hope – 1977
One of the recurring themes in the Star Wars saga is the relationship between fathers and their children. Some fathers in the film are real, like Anakin Skywalker, while others serve as surrogates, like Qui-gon Jinn, Yoda, or Obi-wan Kenobi. Tell a story about a father figure in your life and how he has influenced your life.
This has been a tradition since we started the Campbell Easter Egg Hunt to get a full picture of the grandkids with us. It's great to see how much they have grown through the years too. So glad Dave came up with this idea for having the grandkids over for some fun in the spring. I used my current counterfeit kit Nature's Party and some from last month's kit Social Butterfly.
I used the sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy to help me create this layout:
A cool 1 photo sketch :) Sometimes you just need to scrap those special pictures.
Some close ups of the layout:
Journaling spot
Fun cluster areas
The grand kids love coming each year and look forward to this event at the house we have found out :) We have been trying to have more family get togethers throughout the year, but by far this is our favorite. Thanks for stopping by and be on the look out for another layout.

Lovely
Hello and welcome back if you are looking for the Use Your Stuff Summer Blog Hop go here.
Another LOAD517 layout Day 6:
Prompt:
The Wizard of Oz – 1939
Use a black and white background with a colour photo, OR use a colourful background with a black and white photo. Feel free to use a Wizard of Oz theme too, like courage, brains or heart.
I knew that I had a black n white photo of Isabelle ready to be scrapped in a premade page kit from when I was doing the clustering class :) A great idea for LOAD is premade page kits.
Our sweet granddaughter Isabelle, she's reading with her Mommy at this moment when she was 5, she is now 10. The CTMH Charlotte collection is perfect for this layout.
I used Stuck?! May 1 sketch for my layout:
I used 1 photo with a Project Life card and a journaling spot for the center blocks that were in the sketch.
close up of the journaling
The title work with tag that included the date and a cluster.
a Project Life card with this cluster.
and a cool word cutapart to add to make up this cluster on the layout
Our granddaughter Isabelle a special moment reading with her mother and what Andrea said.
Also this layout is for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge NSD challenge using prompt February 2017. I had used part of my last month's kit Social Butterfly for the layout.

WACC Graduate
Good Morning and welcome :) It's been a great LOAD month with lots of layouts created, but with that comes a quiet blog :) I'm not one to have time to create and to blog too :) So lots of challenges to blog over this weekend to get the entries into the right challenges. But today I'm the designer for LOAD517 Legends of Hollywood!
Day 27 from Scrap Happy
Prompt:
Day 27, Titanic 1997, genre: love story
This has to be one of my best day ever!
I embraced one of the best days ever in my life, graduating college. Who can't feel fantastic at that moment in your life. The Polaroid pictures are: on the left my Mom and I and on the right Me. The lower picture was the one I received when I got my degree. This was a great achievement of my life with raising 3 of my 4 kids at the time and working seasonal jobs during my college life there were alot of sleepless nights and getting a nap here and there when I could. I added a metal crown in part of my one cluster paying homage to the prompt. the tassel included has gotten a bit dull and dusty with time, but still worth the hassle it took to get it :)
It took me a bit to embrace this prompt the day I saw it, wondering about my life and what I have achieved and boom there it was! I had to scrap this moment. One I've been putting of and avoiding for a long time for some odd reason but this prompt helped developed the story needed for this layout and that is one of the best things I feel you get out of LOAD those kinds of stories :)
Some close ups of the layout:
I used a project life card for a layering mat for the photo I received from the college. I used up quite abit of the metal pieces from 7 gypsies Charming Flea Market Findings pack.
Some of my journaling I had alot to say so went off the journaling spot and onto the layout background
Rest of the journaling
Very proud to receive that tassel :) I added the metal crown to pay homage to the prompt :)
Closer look of that cluster.
This layout was created last month with my Counterfeit Kit: social Butterfly plus I used items from my craft desk that was sitting there from challenge over at the 100 Pattern Paper Challenge facebook group.
Thanks for stopping by today :) I hope you enjoy your holiday weekend :) I plan too. There will be a few posts over the weekend if you want to come back and check them out.
Day 27 from Scrap Happy
Prompt:
Day 27, Titanic 1997, genre: love story
Prompt: “I’m the king of the world”. Share your best day ever, or I’m at the top of my game moment.
I
know, the "best day ever" can be a bit of a scrapbooking cliche, but
let’s embrace the excitement and feeling of a fantastic moment or event
for this layout. To get you in the spirit you may wish to watch this

Ava's 1st Easter for a Sketch N Scrap sketch challenge
Good Morning and welcome to today's sketch challenge over at Sketch N Scrap. We have a fun sketch from Heather Hall:
I created a fun Easter layout with this sketch:
Ava's 1st Easter layout for that, I had these photos out for awhile and realized this was the perfect sketch to make the layout. I bounced off he pictures for the circles pattern paper using both from this month's counterfeit kit: Garden Party and last month's kit: Social Butterfly
Journaling from Jessica's post and also a bit from me.
Fun title created with new alphas and some old alphas
Awww such a sweet photo of Ava :)

A Spring Hello There card for Sketch~N~Scrap challenge
Good Morning and welcome to today's sketch challenge over at Sketch~N~Scrap. Today we have this fun sketch from Lisa to play with:
I added the rubons before adding the frame layer to it.
A closer look to the frame and the sentiment. I added a butterfly and some brads for the spots on the sketch. I used my current counterfeit kit: Spring Garden and a butterfly from last month's kit Social Butterfly. Just need to add a little note to the inside of the card and it's ready to be sent off in the mail :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation linked up over at Sketch~N~Scrap too.
It really does have a spring feel to it and so as I was doing my own spring cleaning this month I came across some fun frames and these cute rubons and some how came up with the idea to put them together for this card:

The Many Faces of Zachary for a Stick It Down challenge
Good Morning to you :) I have been busy scrapping this past week, feel darn good to be back in the craft room a bit. Today is Stick It Down's double page layout challenge and this is the sketch for us to use:
and this is what I created with it:
Zachary once again this week. These photos were taken during his 2nd month of life and it's fun to see the changes just in those weeks ending with that beautiful smile of his face. I had some fun tearing the paper and also using my CTMH edge distresser tool for the 2 background papers to make that fun background that was in the sketch. I thought this was a great sketch for lots of photos too so was able to add 8 to this layout. I used my counterfeit kit from last month: Social Butterfly for this layout.
The left hand side of the layout
The right hand side of the layout
Close up of the journaling
Fun with fonts with the title too. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your double page layout creation linked up over at Stick It Down.

Fun in the Sun for a Sketch N Scrap Challenge
Good Morning and welcome to April! Wow March went by very quickly hopefully April will take it slow. Today is the newest challenge over at Sketch~N~Scrap sketch #126:
I had used my counterfeit kit from last month: Social Butterfly for this layout and the colors of the combined papers worked out perfect for the photos too. Grabbed some fun stickers and easy peasy :)
Date in the upper corner cluster
I found this fun quote and thought if fit right in for the atmosphere of this layout and the banner was a fun touch too.
A super fun sketch to play with too. This is what I created with the sketch:
This layout of Zachary came together fairly quickly with this sketch :) He had just turned a year old the week before and was he having fun with that sprinkler. Fun to see him enjoying new experiences too.I had used my counterfeit kit from last month: Social Butterfly for this layout and the colors of the combined papers worked out perfect for the photos too. A quick title with one of the stickers and a few more to make the final cluster. Yep it was a fun day for Zach :) Still got lots of photos of Zach during his 1st year that I'm working through so thought to grab some of them this week and have some fun creating some layouts.
