Repairing layout for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the midmonth layout sketch challenge over at Sketch N Scrap. Today's sketch is from Heather Hall and it's a fun one:
No photo description available.
Got my new printer working finally and got these fun pictures from the summer to use for this sketch a process of getting my tractor ready for the show, Dave wanted to use the cultivator attachment for me to have an easy way to get up on the tractor, plus I would also be able to help out with the garden too.
Using a Bo Bunny collection that was in my July 2018 counterfeit kit Dash of This and Dash of That. Always fun to go back and use a kit :)
The alphas for the title did come from my current counterfeit kit  Groovy Chic, yep it helped having the red alpha this month :)
Loved adding the journaling block to the side of my pictures a way to extend the photo mat.
Fun small picture, nod to the sketch, of me with my tractor after I washed it :) It's ready for showing now :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create for this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap

Our Home layout

Good Morning and welcome :) I hope you are having an enjoyable Labor Day weekend :) I've got a huge list to tackle today so tomorrow can be enjoyed and relaxing too :)
Today starts us off with a new challenge month over at Lasting Memories Scrapbooking challenge.
Our theme for September is - Mixed Bag - meaning our challenges are going to be a little bit of this and a little bit of that! That's my kind of challenge :) Our first challenge of the month is:

LM #411 -  Since Labor Day is tomorrow here in the US, and it is the "unofficial" end to summer, create a summer themed layout and include the word "fun" on your layout - this can be in the title, in your journaling, or on your embellishments.

This is the layout I created
Still being inspired by that sketch I did for yesterday's post from Sketch N Scrap and this was the challenge for today over at Nicole Jones Scrap-A-Thon 2 and the Home prompt was a challenge for Scraptember a fun scrappy month in a facebook group :)
I enjoyed using a little of this and a little of that with my counterfeit kits, too Using paper from last mnonth's kit:Summer Life and July's kit:Dash of This and Dash of That, too and a little of the 6X6 paper cut apart sheet and the homegrown sticker sheet for my title and for embellishing on the layout from my current kit: Falling For You
I got the fun right there in the word stickers that I was adding to the layout so the challenge for Lasting Memories was fulfilled :)
This was a fun layout to create and I'm thinking the Shimelle's class Layer on Layer on Layer on is helping me with my current scrapping style.
Thanks for stopping by today and I do hope you enjoy the view where your at today :)

New Sighting layout for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning and Happy September to you :) This is the 1st post of the day and it's a new month and new sketch over at Sketch N Scrap blog. Here is the sketch that Lisa is challenging us with:
Image may contain: text
I changed it up a bit to work with my photos and my choice of paper too. But I loved the framed element on this sketch and kept that:
So I kept the frame look and I so wanted to use that dinosaur paper I found in my stash so I guess I would say I flipped the sketch. Putting the title at the bottom and the photos at the top. A small mat under the photos and the ribbon for the center strip.
My journaling spot I moved to the bottom of the layout to make it fit well and
I kept the clusters to the spots on the sketch too.
It was a fun sketch to play with, I made sure to cut out a bit of the dinosaur that was on the paper to go over my photo cause I didn't want to cover it up with the picture.
I used my counterfeit kit from July: Dash of This and Dash of That, Some of the paper came from the addition paper pack I added to the kit.
Thank you for stopping by and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun sketch challenge over at Sketch N Scrap blog

Your A Star layout for Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 2nd challenge sketch of the month over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style and this is the sketch That Emma created for this month:
 No automatic alt text available.
Here is the PL card I created :) I flipped the sketch to acheive the look I wanted:
I had fun creating the PL card for some special snapshots of the day.
Britney our grandaughter enjoying a fun selfie moment with her BFF Amber, heading to the club to celebrate her 24th Birthday. This was created using a LOAD prompt for the day too.I used the challenge PL card for my title block and got inspiration for the layout from an old sketch from Sketch N Scrap: That I found on pinterest that I can't find now! I used my current counterfeit kit: Summer Life and last month's kit: Dash of This and Dash of That for the birthday items on the layout.
Britney is on the right side of the picture. I used another PL card for my journaling and lots of word phrases for the layout too. Used camera icons for the LOAD prompt about technology and also stars too
This was just a sweet, fun picture of the girls. It's good to see Britney happy. Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm doing in my little corner of the world. I look forward to seeing your creation over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style

Do Small Things with Great Heart layout for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning, Happy August and welcome to the 1st post of the day today :) Sketch N Scrap has an Awesome sketch to play with for the 1st of the month.:
Image may contain: text
This is my take on this fun sketch:
Using a darker floral background for the layout from my 100 pattern paper challenge pile and the rest of the lighter brighter papers coming from my Counterfeit Kit: Dash of This and Dash of That. Our granddaughter Isabelle doing some community service with a team of girls from her school. Great to see these girls doing something for the community
My journaling and title to the layout
fun cluster next to this photo of Isabelle
and the cluster in the top corner. Definetly a fun sketch and I can see it being used in many ways for many things :) I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap challenge blog

Seeing The Animals Layout for a Sketches in Thyme PL style challenge

Good Morning to you :) I hope you are having a fantastic day and weekend. Wow where the heck is July off too going by so fast!
We have a wonderful sketch challenge over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style  for the 2nd half of the month it is a title project life card. The card I created with Emma's sketch is:
The card was one I had in my stash for awhile it is one that I precut a 3X4 pattern paper when I was 1st getting into project life years ago. I created my title for my layout using the card and this fun sketch from Emma:
 No automatic alt text available.
Here is the layout that I created using this card:
Going to the fair I still stop and take a peek into to see the animals they have for the petting zoo, one of my favorite places to go as a kid was the petting zoo wherever we went and it was available.
The title card on the layout.
 Journaling
and some added chipboard from my current counterfeit kit: Dash of This and Dash of That. The background paper came from my 100 Pattern Paper Challenge pile.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this sketch challenge over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style

Today is a Good Day to have a Good Day layout for Use Your Stuff challenge

Hello and welcome to today's challenge over at Use Your Stuff blog and we are challenged today to do Birthday. I gathered up all my Birthday stuff in my current counterfeit kit: Dash of This and Dash of That kit and sorted through the paper elements I had in the ephemera packs and used that to build up the layers on this fun cake eating layout.
Waylon's 3rd Birthday party, this was the Happy Birthday to you, blow out the candles and lets have cake portion of the birthday :) Just enough pictures printed yet for 2 more layouts.
I used a sketch to help inspire me with this layout:
http://nutsaboutsketches.blogspot.com
Following Shimelle's day 7 prompt from here Layer on Layer on Layer class, I layered up that bottom photo on the left side of the layout:
For me this was a new technique especially on a double page layout to layer up one photo before adding it to the layout was a cool way to approach layering too and using up that stuff!
Close ups of the layout:

Fair Exhibits for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to today's sketch challenge over at Sketch N Scrap. Here is the sketch from Heather Hall, that we were to use:
No automatic alt text available.
and this is the layout I created with it:
Using the sketch the way it was but used different orientation of the photos. We do love to go to our local fair and see the fair exhibits :) We were there just last night for this year's fair. This was a fun sketch to use and thought the background paper with the variety of layers that it had it would make for a fine start to the layout. Using my Die Cuts With A View Crafty pad for my papers and the 6X6 paper and ephemera from Shimelle's Box of Crayons from my summer section of my counterfeit kit from this month's kit Dash of This and Dash of That.
It was nice combining an old collection with a new collection and it worked well together. My journaling spot
picture and paper cluster with ephemera and punched out hearts from the paper I used to mat the photos.
The top cluster and photo, really love to see the quilts and the 4-H exhibits too. Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap.
If you want to see more sketches and more crafty fun head over to our July Red, White & Blue Crop!! Hope to see you there!

We Have Arrived layout for Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1

Good Morning and welcome to the 1st challenge of the month-Forget Me Not over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. Today Lori has challenged us to: We all have them - those tools and embellishments that get pushed to the side and are collecting dust. Pull out those forgotten tools and embellishments and put them to use - punches, brads, buttons, ribbon, rub-ons, dies or die cutting machines, etc. Show those forgotten items some love again!
Myself I love to use brads on my layouts scattered about like enamel dots :) so if I keep them on my desk I find that I will use them more often, but still tend to forget about them unless a challenge asks for them then I easy grab them :)
I used the Simple Stories Travel Notes collection that is in my Dash of This and Dash of That kit for my layout from our Cleveland Trip in June, many more layouts from this trip to come :)
My journaling and one of my embellished spots with brads included
Another close up of the photos I took in the car as we were heading into Cleveland from the interstate. Cluster with stickers and brads.
Larger cluster smack in the center of the layout
The bottom cluster with stickers and brads. It was a cool trip and I hope to do the album justice, with lots of pictures and info too. The arrival into the city was a big part of the 1st day, excitement had been building up for weeks while we were planning the trip and we finally arrived and it was a cool moment that I think need documented into the album.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog.
