GrandPa's Helpers for a Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style Sketch Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the 2nd post of the day today :) This is for Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style and the sketch we are working with this week is:
Image may contain: text
The card I created with this sketch is:
Since adding it to the layout I modified it just a bit adding thread and a gold glitter heart to replace one of the round stickers.
A photo op with Grandpa and the grandkids :) As they each got their pumpkin done I got a picture of them with Dave. A fun family layout. This is one of a series of layouts I've done for the pictures of that day. I've got 2 more to do to finish them off :) The layouts for this series of photos I've been working with my counterfeit kit: Falltoberfest.
Pap with Astacia (the oldest and was a Junior in this photo)
Avery with Pap OMgosh he was just turning 13 almost as tall as Pap who is 6'4". I think he may get as tall as his Dad who is 6'7".
Pap with the youngest of the group AJ (Albert Jr.) See the modifications with the thread and the glittery heart. That circle sticker just wasn't working for me.
Elias with Pap and Isabelle with Pap. Love that they all got a picture with Dave, Grandpa's Helpers :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation with this fun sketch over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style.

Not Your Momma's Cooking for a Lasting Memories Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the blog today, it's a bit chilly and rainy here in PA today. A typical winter were having this year, one day it's hot and the next it's chilly and then you have the snow mixing in once in a while too. We ended up with 6" of snow on Thursday, today it has all just about washed away and it is rainy, prayers that the water stays in the banks of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Something we do quite often is keep an eye on the river during times like this. So that is it in my life at the moment, we celebrated the Great Granddaughter's birthday yesterday, Sabrina had a fantastic birthday party for them and was fun to be there to celebrate with them. I've been staying busy with LOAD217 so that is why it's been a bit quiet here on the blog. Will catch you up soon with the layouts I've been scrapping, some are for challenges around blogland so I need to get them posted soon don't want to try to do them all up at the end of the month like I normally do :)
So today is Lasting Memories new week's challenge Celebration of Love So many possibilities here.  Don't be afraid to branch out.  Have fun with this one.
LM 331
"Celebration of Love" - Layout showing a moment, celebration, favorite hobby, family anything you LOVE!

Love of this wonderful hobby is where I was dicided to go this time for this challenge, as it is LOAD month for me I thought a LOAD layout would be appropriate and one of the fun things about a membership at ScrapHappy.org is that there is a members only LOAD in October and this past October was a fun one. At the end of most of the LOADs some of us do a round up page and that is my layout for today is the round up page for the October LOAD1016:
I love how this came together and added as many specifics as I could. I used my October counterfeit kit: Falltoberfest which had some of the Simple Stories Home Spun little cutaparts on the layout that is in my current kit this month.
I used journaling in a vary of places on this layout. This one has my statistics for the month of scrapping
The rest of the project life cards was used here for the daily themes of the LOAD month.
My own journaling about the month here.
I found this fun apron brad in my stash with those hearts thought that it worked out well for this layout as it had a cooking flair about the theme of the layout and the hearts are for my love of scrapping.
A fun little cluster in this section of the layout
and finished it off with this fun title. May need to outline that 'your' part of the title when I come across the layout when I'm sorting the pile of layouts this week? maybe!!? So you can see it better against the paper that it sits on.
Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world and check out Sketch N Scrap's facebook page they are having a fun crop this weekend with lots of fun challenges too. Looking forward to seeing what you create for this fun challenge of Celebration of Love (so many sometimes it's hard to choose, but choose something and get it on that scrapbook paper :)

Today is a new challenge over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook Challenge blog and For December we have been doing a "Best Of 2016" theme, and bringing back some of our most popular challenges from this year. This week's challenge is:
LM 323 - Use only 4 photos - no more, no less
This is the layout I made in conjunction with a challenge over at the Rocking Holiday Crop on facebook for Sketch N Scrap. That challenge was a bingo card and a sketch:
This was created with my Counterfeit kit: Falltoberfest, so this also came out of my 100 Pattern Paper challenge using 4 papers and a scrap too.Oh my gosh I bought this Dino at a yard sale for 50 cents for the grandboys when they visit, we wanted to try it out to see if it worked and when Dave was trying it and it moved here comes Buddy checking it out. To Fun! well worth the money just in that little bit of time with Buddy. Now it's put up for the kids to play with :)
From Sketch N Scrap here is the sketch I used:
From Dec 1, 2013 (part of the bingo row I choose)
 Part of the journaling
 My title work
 The subtitle
Priceless Buddy having fun with the remote action Dino :) I used the color combo of the Dino for my layout. Thank you for stopping by today and I wish you a fantastic day today :)

Dig In! for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge November Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning and I wish you all a fantastic day today with family and friends.
Welcome to the November Member blog hop over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog. I'm following the very inspiring Julene and if you are coming from her blog then your on the right track :) but if not you may want to start at The Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog and get on board with the first stop on this month's blog hop. This is always a fun blog hop showing off the ladies creations from their current counterfeit kit. This month, you can choose to share any project you have made with your Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit which you have not shared on your blog yet. Your project could be related to any of the three challenges or maybe just something you made with your kit. As a reminder, here are the three challenges this month:

You might have been inspired by the challenges this month :

Challenge #1 - Yum!
Challenge #2 - A Walk In The Woods
Challenge #3 - Bundle Up!

I followed #3: In cooler weather, we start dressing in layers stay warm. For the third challenge of the month, dress your project for the crisp air by using lots of layers. I layered on the embellishments more than paper layers on this grid style layout:
I took lots of photos the day the kids were over picking pumpkins and with a bit of help for our decorating we got them all to pick another pumpkin out to carve for our yard so let the process begin :) Dig in ! was very appropriate title for this layout of just getting the pumpkins cleaned out first before the carving. Layers of embellishments on this layout from my Falltoberfest kit.
I used the sketch over at Creative Scrappers for the inspiration for this layout:
My husband took this picture so glad to see myself in one of the pictures when I went through them all to be printed
 The journaling
A fun middle block full of word stickers of the day.
Dave sure was keeping an eye on the kids while they were cutting along with Andrea too
Thanks a bunch for stopping by today and have fun hopping around the blog hop not off you go to see what Lisa has created she does so magnificent creations :) and you can see what she did create at her blog.

Campbell Pumpkin Patch

Good morning and welcome :) Today I have a layout that I created as DT over at Stick It Down. I'm on the double page team and we had quite the sketch to work with this month. So this is my take on the sketch:
and this is the sketch we got to use:
This was a cool sketch to try to adapt to my style of scrapping, I think I represented it well :) I figured it was up to the individual to decide on the amount of photos we wanted to add to the layout. So I used my current counterfeit kit: Falloberfest and got more of the pumpkin day with the Grandkids scrapped. This is the starting layout of the day where they went and chose their pumpkin. They put those in the car and you'll see in upcoming layouts the ones they chose for us and helped us decorate our yard.
The left hand side of the layout:
The right hand side of the layout:
I used washi tape and those pumpkin borders for the bottom strips in the sketch
I used some stickers, finished off those gold brads (finally!), and that fun journaling card for my journaling
More stickers from the fall sticker sheets to create that title with fun pennants and some gold Heidi Swapp mist.
I thought I would add some fun with the chevrons pointing to the word go! under the picture where we started moving towards the pumpkins. It was a fun day and I really like the way this layout turned out :) Thank your for stopping by and I hope to see your creation linked up on the Stick It Down blog.

Thank God for Small Favors

Good Morning to you :) Today I'm featuring a layout that I created the title card from the sketch over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style. Our sketch creator this week is Susanne Brauer
and this is the title card I created
and the sketch:

The card was in the 4X6paper pad I added to my current counterfeit kit: Falltoberfest along with the Date stickers, the scallop border, the fleur de lis wood pieces and the other stickers. This is the day that Albert's family came over to pick out there pumpkins and then picked out 5 more to carve to decorate our yard. the layout I created was pininspired:
I found this fun sketch on my board of sketches I wanted to try :) This is also a Grid layout and so for this week's Use Your Stuff challenge is also taken care of :)
Close up of the action taking place
 The journaling block
Fun picture of all the pumpkins lined up in a row.
and us adults enjoying the show :) The only one missing from this layout is Astacia, but you will see her in other layouts from the day over the next week. A very enjoyable layout to create ad love creating that fun title card too.
The prize over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style for November is the beautiful Thankful for You stamp set. You have until November 30, 2016 to add your blog or Instagram link up!
We can't wait to see what you create,
Happy Scrapping,
