CKC - Spetember 2026 Kit Reveal - The Great Adventure

Good Morning and welcome to my blog. It's the 1st of September and that means it's time for a new inspiration kit reveal. As I'm the host this month over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and I knew that I wanted to do a travel kit to start on my Seattle and Alaska adventure so that lead me to my choice... But first you should have arrived from Tara's blog which is fitting as she pointed me to this month's inspiration kit. I want to welcome Karin as our guest forger this month she's a great member of our CKC facebook community. So let's see this month's inspiration:

Tina here for this month's hosting duties. I recently was on an awesome vacation and wanted to scrap some of it in September so was blessed that a friend pointed out this kit for me and new it was perfect for this month's inspiration  This month we are using a kit from Traci Reed called Story Foundations:  Destinations.  Let me share the kit with you.

Isn't this kit amazing! I'm considering purchasing it. But for now I'll build something from my own stash: Here is my kit for September:

The Great Adventure!

This kit is packed full of all kinds of goodness! Let me try to break it all down

The Papers:

approimately 60 papers in this kit some are cutaparts and will be used for that.
Pocket cards that are Alaska specific that a dear friend gifted me and received just in time to make it into my kit!
Acrylic titles and a bunch of fun flair specific for Seattle and Alaska plus generic ones too.
Cutfiles gifted to me from my roommate on this cruise! Looking forward to playing with those...
Closer look at the variety of things in this kit so many embellishments to play with and choose from.
Close up of some older product and newer product and the colors just flow together.
Close up 2 and that included cutapart sheet from the inspirational kit my roommate already bought and sent me some!
The perfect way to end this is with the Best Summer Ever as I not had such a fun summer as I had with this trip in a looooooong time! Some fun wood veneer and I will be adding more throughout the month that are travel related. Thanks for stopping by, I'm last on the list so if you haven't catched any of the other hoppers check on the list below. Happy Scrapping!

Now it's time to see how everyone else interpreted this month's inspiration. Be sure to visit each stop on the hop and leave some love along the way.

CKC - August 2026 Kit Reveal - Sweet and Juicy

Hello August! Wow summer just flew by! and so is the year. We have a great kit inspiration choice from Master Forger Amanda this month. I'm following Ryann on the hop this month and excited to see what she put together for her kit. To see the hoppers just check the end of the post. Our guest Master Forger this month is Sarah R, who participates often in our community so check out our Facebook page to see what she pulled together. So here we go:

Amanda is our Master Forger host this month, and I think you're going to love her chosen inspiration kit. For August she choose a kit from a UK company called Crafty Templates, and their May/June kit have lots of summertime, fresh fruit fun, with some great tags, some sequence and some great mixed media goodies!

So much bright colors with this kit and all those fruits had me thinking what to pull and I came up this. Here is my kit for August:

Sweet and Juicy

So I knew I had Nature's Haven from 49&Market which had a bunch of strawberries in it so that was my first choice for this inspiration and I mashed that up with Kaleidoscope for the other brighter colors in the inspiration kit that I was missing.
The papers from the 2 collections combine well.
I grabbed an older cutfile collection for this month's scrapping and speaking of cutfiles there will be others coming into play as it's 31 days of cutfiles with MK and Janet.
The checked tissue paper, the watermelon slice and bugs plus the 2x2s also came in that cutfile kit.
I didn't have the pompom ribbon, but I did grab this ribbon and trim that I felt suited the theme of the kit well.
I want to make a dent in this chipboard this month too. Thanks for stopping by, I'm last on the list so if you haven't catched any of the other hoppers check on the list below. Happy Scrapping!

Now it's time to see how everyone else interpreted this month's inspiration. Be sure to visit each stop on the hop and leave some love along the way.

Vacation LO for a Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Good morning and welcome to my blog. It's time for the 1st challenge of the month at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and Christine has a fun challenge for us.

Challenge #1: Summer Soundtrack

Create a layout inspired by a song that reminds you of summer.

Challenge Requirements:

  • Include the title of a song somewhere on your page.
  • Use at least 3 bold or bright colors.
  • Add something that represents movement (waves, sun rays, flowing banners, splatters, stitching, etc.).

When I think about summer, I immediately think about music. Certain songs can instantly transport me to a specific place or memory:  a family road trip, a day at the lake, a favorite vacation, a concert, or even a simple moment spent with friends and family.

That's the magic of music. It becomes part of our stories.

For this challenge, I want you to think about the songs that make you smile when they come on the radio. Maybe it's a classic summer anthem, a song that played during a special vacation, or a tune that reminds you of someone you love. Use that memory as the inspiration for your layout.

Anything by the Go-Gos brings a smile to my face so it was an easy choice to use one of their songs for this challenge and Vacation from 1982 was the right choice for this layout:
For my inspiration I'm playing along with Off the Board this month a fun hop that Crystal Barrett came up with for us to use our pins on Pinterest. So today is Sunday and that is Sketch day so this is the sketch I chose for my inspiration
Thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I hope you join us over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog for this fun challenge.

CKC - June 2026 Kit Reveal - Summer Vibes

Good morning! Happy June! Welcome back to my blog, still busy busy busy lately with work so not got to enjoy the weather as much as I would have liked last month. It's the 1st so that means it's a new month and a new kit to counterfeit. You'll find the hop list at the end of the post :) We have 2 new forgers so please check them out and give them some love too! Our guest forger this month is Lisa Cuneo, she is one of our regular CKC players from our Facebook group.

Master Forger Ryann has decided on a very colorful it for June, perfect for the start of Summer!

Let's kick off the month with our inspiration... the Color Me Happy kit. This kit includes such a wide range of colors that you can draw inspiration from nearly any part of the spectrum.

This hybrid kit is filled with a variety of elements designed to inspire your creativity and spark your own unique ideas.  Whether you use stamps, ink pads, or even some scrap ribbon from your stash, I think you can find something fun to counterfeit this month!
 Let's take a look.

Here is my kit for June:

Summer Vibes'

I was drawn to some older 49 & Market collections from the inspiration. I really thought I would go with one of the newer collections but when I took a second look I thought these would be great too. So I'm combining Alena, Kaleidoscope and Inkwell collections to make up my Summer Vibes kit.
The papers I choose to play with, not sure of the pictures yet with all those blues a recent bus trip to Niagara Falls might just work!
I brought in the yellows with the project life cards.
Closeup of some of the fun embellishments I brought in too.
Lots of goodness in this picture too.

That's it that's my kit for this month :) I'm looking forward to playing with the kit and this month is Christy's Beautiful life 30 days of sketches series 22!

Here is the inspiration hop lineup:
