Bee Kind LO for a Sketch n Scrap challenge

Bee kind as being kind to the environment is the reasoning for this title love that I can be out walking where I do and to have some great songs come up on the radio channel I listen to just makes it better. Today is the mid-sketch over at Sketch N Scrap I chose this sketch for my layout inspiration:

Here's the layout I created:

I loved that I could use scraps for those strips plus I used 3 papers from my 100 paper pile too. Had fun playing with Some Assemblage Required sewing templates for my clusters, switching the orientation of them from what was on the sketch.

A Beautiful Day LO for a Sketch n Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to my blog. We are currently in a heatwave and I've been loving it when I can get out in it, work has been crazy busy too! Today is another throw back sketch over at Sketch and Scrap blog. I chose to do sketch #179 for my layout inspiration.

Isn't this a cool sketch! I love that it has that one focal embellishment and that had me thinking a cutfile would be perfect. So playing along with Cutfile Craze today too.
I used my current Counterfeit kit for the background paper and scraps from my 100 pattern paper challenge for the rest playing along with week 21 challenge there too. A fall foliage Riverboat ride. The foliage is just starting to come into color.

Don't Forget Happy Day LO for a Sketch n Scrap challenge

Good morning and welcome to my blog. Happy May and Happy National Scrapbook Day! It's our holiday and I plan to enjoy it scrapbooking! So lets start off the month with a special sketch for today from Sketch n Scrap blog

I had fun creating just an everyday layout with this sketch I used a cutfile for the heart and had some fun stenciling too.
This microwave became an addition to the apartment in April 2025 even thought I bought it late 2024, so it sat in the box for a few months before finally getting put out on the counter. The spatula holder has moved since this picture was taken. I used some old Simple Stories 24/7 collection for this.

Instead of the tags in the sketch I used this fun cutfile. Playing along with Kit Conspiracy this month and this week its a pirate style collection so I made sure to get these pictures scrapped from my Lake Seneca Lake cruises day trip. This was the greeter for the gift shop and had to get a selfie with him!

K is for Kit LO for Sketch N Scrap challenge

Good morning and welcome to my blog. It's been an up and down month so far with the weather. A tease of summer and then winter is back but I did see my 1st Robin so Spring is on it's way! Today is another throw back sketch over at Sketch and Scrap blog. I chose to do sketch #196 for my layout inspiration. I turned the sketch to work with my photos:

This is what I created from the sketch:

Lots of mixed media on this layout. Using a stencil with acrylic paint and then using it again with distress oxide ink on the pattern paper was a fun test. Used some lace too. I shifted over my pictures section of the sketch to utilize that K in the pattern paper for my title. My papers came from my 100 pattern paper pile and the embellishments came from extras in the kit that wasn't used for the class layouts.
