Here We Go! LO for Stick it Down Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to Stick It Down challenge, their Double page challenge for the month of May. Our Sponsor this month is:
Angie's Digital Stamps is our sponsor for May!

 Here is the May sketch!
and this is what I created for this sketch:
This is the base page for our fun train ride that we took while we were in Honesdale, PA. There were 24 pictures to this section of the road trip so decided that I would also add 2 Pocket pages to this too (at a later date this month)
The right side of the page, I used a CTMH collection as well as that circle paper that was in my April Counterfeit kit: Spring Cleaning. The pin I purchased at the last place we stopped at and knew that I could use it like a flair badge on the layout. Bits and pieces from my BASHket was added to the layout too
I used some bits and pieces on this side of the layout from my April CKC: Spring Cleaning and I just about got this trip wrapped up!
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun challenge

Lock 31 layout for Counterfeit kit Challenge #2

Good Morning and welcome :) The 2nd challenge of the month for Counterfeit Kit Challenge
Clair is our host this month and she is having fun with some of the elements that we're in the original kit for our challenge

This is a journaling challenge. Use the sentiments from the stamp sets included in the inspiration kits as a starting point for your story. I've included the stamp sets above, so you don't need to head off and find them!
So I found 2 stamps from the stamp set I included that works with this challenge and included with the layout:
The background paper is the B side of one of the floral papers, seemed like the right color to go with the stickers I used in my clusters that included my stamping that includes the journaling challenge from Clair. Stamped in black ink it's hard to tell in the photograph.
Using stickers from the kit and some glitter enamels for the clusters.
It's been fun working through this day trip using my current counterfeit kit: Spring Cleaning as the 2 middle papers are scraps from a layout I did the day before :) Love cleaning up scraps like that.
Thanks for stopping by today and Can't wait to see what you create for this fun challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge

Wayne County's Glass Layout for Stick It Down challenge

Hello and welcome  :) Today is Stick It Down's double page layout sketch and this month we have a fun sponsor over at Stick It Down too:

Handipaper is a digital craft store, where you will find printables, clipart sets and a wide variety of digital cutting files for scrapbookers, cardmakers and DIY lovers.

We have a fun sketch this month to play with:
This is what I created with the sketch:
I've been scrapping a fun day trip this past week and this was one of the cool exhibits at the museum. Using both my current counterfeit kit: Spring Cleaning and last month's counterfeit kit: Backyard Oasis (the floral paper) plus 14 items from my BASHket made for a fun layout.
The left side I used 2 photos for the large photo, I almost always play with 4x6 photos so for me this is the easiest way to do the large photos when the sketch call for it :) the journaling block was a fussy cut out piece from a cut apart that is in my current kit. Added some fun pieces for my BASHket too.
The right side has 3 photos as I took a photo oh the sign and used that for my title. more cut aparts and pieces from my BASHket. This layout is part of my Honesdale, PA Roadtrip.
Thank you for stopping by today to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch over at Stick It Down challenge blog

Let the Journey Begin.... for a Sketch N Scrap challenge

Hello December and hello to a new sketch for Sketch N Scrap:
No automatic alt text available.
I just loved using this sketch and it went so quickly too for my layout:
This was the 1st exhibit we saw in Honesdale. This coal wagon was sitting outside of the Vistor's Center where we got our tickets. I got the cool postcard at the museum showing the wagon in action when it was used.
 my journaling
The stamped image of a coal train car. I've been using an image of a train of somesort throughout these layouts from the daytrip.
 closeup of the photos/postcard
My title came from a recollections quote sticker
and I added another sticker here to above the photos
Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up too, I look forward to seeing your creation for this sketch over at Sketch N Scrap.

Fun Adventure for a Stick It Down challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) to a new week. Busy with work it's been a bit crazy with our new order from a new customer (so right now it's a secret till it goes out to market) So deadlines create lots of mandatory work for me! and not so much creative time. So busy working on this month's DT projects today so I can get ahead a bit.
Today is the Double Page team reveal over at Stick It Down and a really fun sketch to use too. Another double page layout from the Honesdale, PA Roadtrip:
Here is the sketch we used. I flipped for my pictures:

I could see this being used for lots of different style pictures and for more inspiration you need to go over to the Stick It Down blog and see what my DT sisters did with it :)
The left side of the layout has our individual pictures plus the same tickets you see in our hands (that was Dave's idea to have them in the photo of him and I just followed suit). Got some fun ephemera to add to the layout, cutting it out of the brochures I got earlier in the day, that day.
This was the train that we were on, were were on the passenger train closest to the engine. It was a nice smooth ride too. The owner maintains it well
My title and journaling. To not take away to much from the pictures I used minimal embellishment using the ephemera and brads.
Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world. I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun sketch challenge over at Stick It Down

At The Train Yard for a Stick It Down challenge

Good Morning and welcome to today's challenge over at Stick It Down. The Double Page team got to create with this fun sketch:

This is what I created with the sketch:
This layout is from our adventure in Honesdale, PA and this part of the adventure was when we were checking out the train yard on our way to the museum. The sketch as awesome for this layout.
The left side of the layout
The right side of the layout
I used some project life cards on a couple of layouts from this series and wanted to continue using them for cohesiveness including the brads as I had brads on the other layouts too. A picture of my shoes works for the Scrappy Sisters Scrap September challenge Day 26 Your Shoes prompt.
It's always fun catching Dave enjoying what he sees
Another project Life card. and a picture of a train snow plow
My journaling and a stamped image to finish it up :) I've been enjoying doing the layout for this road trip.

Scenic Cruising for a Sketches In Thyme Project Life Style challenge

If you are looking for the Sketch N Scrap post you can find it here

Hello again :) My 2nd post of the day is using this fun sketch over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style. We are changing things up just a bit over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style starting this month. We will now be posting sketches on the 1st and the 15th.
The mid month sketch for September is courtesy of the talented Emma Pescott:
 Image may contain: text
This is the card I created with this sketch:
I used my current counterfeit kit for part of my card and an old counterfeit kit for the road trip theme items on my card. A 3X4 card that I used to create my title block for my Double page layout:
I created this fun layout using 5 photos and 5 project life cards :) Nothing like bashing the project pife card stash a bit :) I used alot of old counterfeit kit for the road trip theme items on my layout. The cards came from Me & My Big Ideas pocket pages collection of theme cards that are vacation/road trip related. I also used My Mind's Eye Hello World decorative brads and Tim Holtz word phrases for my embellishing.
The left side of the double page layout. I used 2 Project Life cards on it. I used the sketch over at Sketches in Thyme for this layout:
I just loved this sketch when I seen it
The Project Life card used for the title on the left side page of the layout.
The top corner embellishment and under the green paper I did one of my fav techniques smooshing with packaging, used 3 different Heidi Swapp's color shine inks in the Tea, Citron and Sweet Mint. Cause I used my fav technique this falls under the Scrappy Sisters Scrap September challenge Day #14-Fav Technique. It was fun playing with the inks on both pages of the layout.
Interesting sign that explains a bit about the bridge.
Right side of the layout has 3 Project Life cards on it so a total of 5 Project Life cards on the Double Page layout :) I also did the package smooshing technique on this page too. You can see more of it in the below photo.
My journaling about not finding the right turn but lead us to this magnificent sight :)

Found this fun road map paper in my stash and knew that I had to use it :)
Fun Project Life card to add some extra details. I added journaling in various spots on this 2 page layout. I had fun creating this layout :) and looking forward to creating a few more layouts from that fun day :)

#RoadTrip for Sketch N Scrap sketch challenge

Good Morning :) Today is the 2nd layout sketch over at Sketch N Scrap for the month:
No automatic alt text available.

Isn't this a cool sketch! I used it for the title page for a day trip we took to Honesdale, PA:
This was us leaving Williamsport, PA at 6:30 AM the sun was just starting to rise. For the one layer on the sketch I used the tickets that I got online when I purchased my tickets even though I didn't need them for the trip I printed them out anyway cause all the information needed was on them.
I used part of a past counterfeit kit and part of my kit this month too. Used stamps and brads to embellish the page. This layout is also for Day #3-No People of the Scrappy Sisters Scrap September challenge.
My journaling is of when I started investigating Honesdale, PA to see what was all there, buying the tickets online and then the plan for the day. It was a fun day and lots of layouts to come from that day :)
