Live Laugh Love Everyday

Good Morning and welcome :) Today I have another week done in my 2014 project life album, I'm not out of January yet, but I got another week done :) Maybe in the New Year I can really get active with this and get 2014 finished and in the books :)
This week over at Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style we're to use Sketch #5 for our page:
This week's sketch had that fun banner that I created with some CTMH product and some letter stickers. Lots of fun sequins and some washi tape too. The sketch:
Sketch #5 by our one and only, Shawn Lahr.....
Here is the page that I used my card on:

The Return of Project Life

Oh my it has been a long time since I had done a project life page :) But a new challenge blog is bringing my project life back to life.... So let's blow off the dust and see what happens.
Jan 6 to Jan 12 2014?!! Yes that is the year of this title card for this particuliar week :) Can we all say I'm a bit behind :) but no worries now that a new project life challenge blog has come to save the day! The name of the blog is Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style and this is the sketch that is the challenge for this week:
Our first sketch was created by the wonderfully talented Shawn Lahr:

More about the challenge at the end of the blog post.
The 2 page spread that is inspired by this card:
A closer look at each page:
The left side holds Jan 6 thru Jan 8. A peek at my office that I had at Moonlight Graphics I do love post it notes. A record breaking day for a morning low. Some trouble for a neighbor that caused some trouble for me to get back to my house. Not a pleasant day at all with my hooping station breaking. But got to see this little precious moment at the end of the day. This is the year we see Tristan growing through his 1st year of life his and Waylon's too.
The right side holds Jan 9 thru Jan 12. A pic of the day was a picture of me standing on our porch,it was nice to see the sun out. My planner for this year and an unusual hooping job to be done. A cute picture of our Grand daughter Astacia, she is a true beauty from the inside out. We watched Les Miserables and I wrote up a card about it. My favorite football team making it into the NFC championship game (we won't be seeing any of that this year :( A cute photo of most of Avery's kids one AJ is missing from the photo, guess he decided not to walk along.
I used the original counterfeit kit I had pulled in Jan 2014 for this month of PL, and with that I added some things that I pulled this month for CKC in PL cards and embellishments.
I love to add the week in review card to my spread it gives a snapshot of what my week was like and what my journaling is like.
A closer look, had fun with these pockets
The bummer was a PL card that I cut up to get what I wanted, love that you can find fun things to do with the cards you get in these kits.  I have learned today that the photos I thought I had for 2014 PL is actually 2013 PL so will be going back to that year and putting it together while I gather up my 2014 photos from around the craft room and get them organized to document in PL (a project for after the holidays I'm thinking) till then 2013 to the rescue. I also learned that the older pictures that I grab off FB I need to write the caption about them then, it takes way to long to look for the original photo on FB when it's been almost 2 years later.........
Looking forward to seeing what you create :)
Here is how to play along:

A 3 Twenty Crafts Blog Hop with Week 1 Project Life 2014

Hello my crafty friends!!
Welcome to day 2 of the 3 Twenty Crafts 2nd Release! You should have arrived here from Melissa's blog but if you would like to start at the beginning of the hop, simply go to Jo's Scrap Shack.
Today we are showing you the new and awesome stamp set “Strike a Pose”

This stamp set coordinates with Project Life and Smash Books.
Here is what I created using this new stamp set:
This 3" X 4" card is included in my Week 1-Jan 1-5 2014 Project Life spread
Hi you all and welcome to my blog, today I have week 1 of my Project Life 2014. I chose to use the Project Life Cinnamon edition for my core kit this year with me mixing in other papers so I don't get to bored with it. Why did I choose that kit, funny I think it chose me, got the Album for my birthday from my husband and the core kit from secret Santa this passed year so I think it was meant to be :), I also used my current PL counterfeit kit too. Here is some closer shots:
The right side holds Jan 1, 2014 and the week in review card, we got quite a bit done that day it took the whole page. Typical breakfast, Dave and I enjoying our Christmas Gifts, and Christmas decorations put away (Gone!)
The Left side holds the rest of the week: Snow storm on the 2nd, Cold temperatures and a water pipe that burst on the 3rd, Working on the 4th, 3 sections took over for Sunday the 5th.
On the 1st I spent my Christmas Gift cards and money at Michaels and A.C. Moore. I bought a few things that were on my list that I didn't get :) plus some things I thought I needed. When I got home found Dave out in the back field playing with his new cordless trimmer saw. He's enjoying that gift.
Here you can see that special card using 3 Twenty Crafts "Strike A Pose" stamp set in it's pocket. This will be used quite often over this year in my future project life spread, but this stamp set could be used for so much more in Smash books and on cards or even on a scrapbook layout.
Well that is my project and I am glad you stopped by today. Your next stop on the hop is Tina M so have a great time as my Design Team sisters have really created up some gorgeous projects that will surely inspire you!!

CKC-February Project Life Forgery

Hi you all,
Got my whole kit figured out for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge-Project Life choice:

And this is what I created: A little more bolder than their kit:
Their kit had 3-12 X 12s plus a kraft cardstock sheet in it, not sure why guess to create your own cards. If you went to the actual kit's site the first paper that came up is one full of arrows that is why the arrows paper is in it. It was fun to translate the kit to find out exactly what was in the kit.
Since they didn't show any other of the 12 X 12 paper I drew in the Stars paper and used alot of circles they had to bring in the other sheets of paper.
The kit consisted of  light blues and the whites and the kit had (6) 4 X 6 pcs (I'm thinking a couple were for the title page) and (24) 3 X 4, enough for 4 weeks of crafting. I pulled in the blues, greens, golds and tans (to work with the cinnamon core kit). I pulled in a variety of designs: chevrons, dots and stripes
The kit had 2-badges/flairs, 1 alpha, 1 washi tape, 1 rub-ons, 10 mini veneers and 1/2 pack of enamal dots.
I pulled in 2-alphas, 3 washi tapes, pack of rub-ons to use, the flair buttons, the veneer pack and 2 packs of enamel dots.
They also had stamps, which I have but at the moment I can't show them. You can see those next week during the blog hop for 3 Twenty Crafts new release stamps. It'll be fun to get back into Project Life, life has been so busy that I haven't had a chance to enjoy the weekly crafting of project life.
Wow 2 posts in one day, you all have a great night and stop back tomorrow for Throwback Thursday.
