Good Dog LO for a Use Your Stuff challenge-Critters

Yay for an Early Spring! He has spoken and didn't see he's shadow :) Love this now to see if it happens :)
In honor of this critter's answer we at Use Your Stuff challenge blog are in a collaboration with Double Trouble:
Our theme for you this week in honor of Groundhog Day on the 2nd is to create a project that has CRITTERS....it could be something that highlights a pet, or a stamped image with some animals on it, maybe it's the PP that you use with those birds, ducks, moose!  Whatever tickles your fancy!

Now for an added twist, we are partnering in this challenge with Double Trouble Challenges!

Double Trouble Paper Crafting

You want to make sure to head over to their blog as well and incorporate their challenge themes into your project for a chance to win...just click on this link .
Easy enough for me :) with Buddy in our life I have the critter challenge under control :)
My layout is of my Buddy :) my favorite critter. Using an older paper pad I got years ago in a swap for my layout of Buddy. Lucky enough to get the right picture while he had his tongue out making it extra special. I had fun creating this layout and really love how it turned out too.
Now it's your turn! I look forward to see what you create for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

BRRR layout for Use Yoyur Stuff challenge blog

Good Morning and welcome to the 1st challenge of the new year over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. We got some changes going on over there:

A new change for this new year as well...Our challenges will be running for 2 weeks each..that means there will only be 2 challenges each month (one from each team) rather than 4!

This challenge will run from Monday Jan 6th until Saturday Jan 18th!  Lots of time to get your entries in!  Enter as many times as you would like but please no backlinking and make sure that you tag UYS in your post for our challenge as well.

We have a super easy challenge to start you off...it's ANYTHING GOES!  Create anything you want - but try to use some of that older stuff you have in your stash, not the new product you got for Christmas!! :)

Finishing off 2019 trying to use up a CTMH collection Frosted I created this layout. The paper is from 2013 and the pictures are from Nov 15, 2018.

My journaling about the storm. I love the way this layout turned out and was so glad to get this collection bashed and out of my stash. From my November Counterfeit kit: Everyday Insight just another insight to one of the days in my life :)
This was the beginning of this storm and the pictures here are from the 1st day of it, I did a single layout of the next day of this storm, you'll have to come back tomorrow to see that layout. I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

Last of the Christmas Cookie Baking LO for Use Your Stuff blog challenge

Good Morning and welcome! This is the last challenge this year for Use Your Stuff challenge blog so the design team can enjoy the Christmas holidays :) So what better theme to finish off with than It's Christmas Time!
It's Christmas time at our house when I'm making Christmas Cookies:
This was me in 2017 on Dec 24 finishing up my Christmas Cookie baking and it's looking the same for this coming year that I'll be baking cookies Dec 23rd and 24th while the hubby is at work. Yes my job has left me little time to get in the Christmas spirit this year till the days before the holiday to finally enjoy it :) I used 3 tags on my layout a challenge from Scrap N Chat group and also the layout was created from a Scraplift over at the Scrap Squad facebook group :)
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

Family & Friends LO for Use Your Stuff challenge

Good Morning :) Hope you had a fantastic weekend :) I'm here with this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog and the challenge this week is to create a project using some scraps from another project. I've been creating graduation layouts from our Granddaughter's Graduation last year and it was great to use the scraps throughout to keep the theme together.
Used lots of scraps on this layout :) what makes a fun fast layout is using scraps :) some stamping and some stickers too. Thank you for stopping by today to see what I'm up too in my scrappy corner of the world :) Now I can't wait to see your take on this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog this week.

Boo to You LO - Use Your Stuff Challenge

Good morning and welcome to this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. Mayo is our hostess this week and has challenged us to Use a Pumpkin on our project, Either on a photo, if you make layouts, a die cut, a stamp, whatever, as long as it's a pumpkin.
Here is my take on that challenge:
This was made from another challenge too, using chalks, for Nicole Jones Scrap-A-Thon 4 and also for LOAD1019 Day 1 prompt. Basically I went with being dressed up as the prompt was Drag for Tom Hanks series Bossum Buddies, yes we are doing a month of Tom Hanks inspiration, this girl could really having the blahs about it but a trooper and making sure the prompt works for me :)
So this picture has been hanging around for a while and finally thought I should scrap that one :) My 2 youngest kids Kevin and Jill, 1994, thinking this may have been the last time they went out trick or treating :) I even made Jill's costume :) As you can see I use a variety of pumpkins on the layout, even the ones that are in my counterfeit kit Groovy Chic this month in that box of chipboard.
Close up of the middle section, had fun creating the chalked background and will definitely be doing that again :) I finished up the purple Halloween dazzles I had and got that out of my stash :) plus some phrase stickers too.  Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

Using scraps to create this layout about my husband, this day he was hilling potatoes.
Close up of the journaling on the layout. I look forward to seeing your creation for this week's challenge challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

A Great Love Story for a Use Your Stuff Challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) I hope it's a bit cooler where you love, we've been under a heat advisory for the last few days, excessive heat for 2 of those days. So limited scrapping for me during this time as to the heat and no AC in the room.
This week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog the theme is ROMANCE!
Your project could be about young love, old love, a romantic movie, date, a significant other, pretty much anything that shows romance to you!

I wasn't expecting this type of title or journaling for the beginning page of our vacation last year with this stop in Canton, OH to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Love the stenciling of the hearts about the layout. Added a few foam footballs for the theme of the layout :) A decent selfie too.I used my May counterfeit kit-Enjoy the Road for this quick layout. What made the layout so quick was I done the stenciling days before I made the layout.
I chose to use a layout I created during LOAD519 Day 23 was Love Potion #9 (song by the Searchers) The lyrics of the song tell a story but it's not really a love story! Do you have a story with a happier ending? The technique part of this day was to use hearts.
So this trip is our 25th Anniversary trip so fitting for the prompt, plus it was great to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame, we both enjoyed seeing it, would have to say I probably enjoyed it a wee bit more than Dave as I enjoy football a wee bit more than he does :)
Just a wee bit of journaling for the layout more will come when more pages are created.
My title of the layout thought it was fitting for the prompt.
Thank you for stopping by today I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

Birdwatching Even on Vacation

Good Morning and welcome to the 1st post of the day :) Use Your Stuff challenge blog has a fun challenge today: This week, we are challenging you to create a project that uses one or all of the 3 b's; birds, bees or butterflies. I chose birds for my feature today:
This layout was fun to create using a grid format. The prompt was brought about from LOAD Mini2018 Out of this World. The prompt for Day 6 was Supermassive Blackhole: A black hole absorbs all around it. What takes up your energy? What do you gravitate towards? The technical prompt was to use a dark background. Definitely gravitate towards birdwatching and I used a dark background :)
 Cluster up by the title
 Journaling
 cluster by the journaling block
fun details in one of the blocks "_
Did some birdwatching even while on vacation. On the 9th Street Pier on the Eire Lakefront. While waiting on the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame to open we did some exploring on the pier checking out the old Steamship that was docked there as a museum and the barn swallow seem to be watching us :) The gull was taking a break and looking for something to eat while we were there

101 Days of Summer Documented Mini Album

Good Morning and welcome to a new challenge over at Use Your Stuff. Tammy challenge us to use Stickers: I'm sure everyone has them in their stash so let's see what you can do with them!  Could be puffy stickers, chipboard stickers, flat stickers...you name it.....pop them on your project and show us what you've got!
So lets see what you got! I've been using stickers on this fun project I've been doing all month using one paper pad for the project(Bash Your Scrapbooking Stuff facebook group challenge this month), but to keep it from getting out of hand I've been using stickers and flat die cuts for my embellishing.
101 Days of Summer Documented Mini Album (2018) There was a challenge somewhere on social media for this, taking atleast one picture a day and creating an album :) I took the pictures and made sure I journaled each day somewhere about the picture for the album. Now it's time to get it put together:
My title page has thickers, flat stickers and puffy stickers
Day 1 has lots of stickers for the date, title and the suns
Day 2 the chill sticker and the mail stickers in the border
Day 3 word stickers and a chipboard piece
Day 5/6 just a couple of stickers
Day 7/8 lost of stickers with letters, words, icons and numbers
Extension of Day 8: Adding stickers for the hash tag I used for our vacation, vellum sticker across the photo and the fish sticker and word sticker on the journaling card.
Day 9 Just the one sticker on the 1st picture on day 9 but on the 2nd page of day 9 has a few clear stickers and the best vacation chipboard sticker
Day 10 Stickers everywhere! alphas to create some fun journaling, and cameras, word stickers and a journaling spot sticker
Day 11 has theme stickers as well as vellum style stickers
 Day 12 More word stickers
Day 13-June 9, 2018 has stickers from a sticker book as well as alpha stickers.
So there is all kinds of ways to get stickers on your pages! Can't wait to see what you create for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

The Rialto Theater LO for Use Your Stuff challenge

Good Morning and welcome to a new week and a new challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. This week's challenge is VINTAGE.
So this could be some vintage papers, a vintage photo, a vintage technique, use your imagination and use your stuff! :)
This is photos and a stop on that historical downtown Williamsport walking tour I took. This theater actually has special memories as this was the 1st theater I got to go to by myself and saw the movie Willard (yes I was a thriller movie junkie :) We had 3 Movie theaters in town at that time.
The architect to this building is amazing.
Information about the building from the tour
My own memory for my journaling

This was also a LOAD218 Day12 layout. The prompt was about change
Change: changes for me growing up, changed up the sketch that I used for the layout by rotating it.   I used my past counterfeit kit: Pretty Little Pastimes for the layout inspiration that had some vintage papers in it.
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm up too in my little corner of the world.

Ohio Lakes & Rivers LO for Use Your Stuff challenge

Good Morning and Happy Memorial Day and welcome to today's Use Your Stuff challenge:

This beautiful Mood board is our challenge this week, take it in any direction that speaks to you. To me it's got such a summer vibe to it :)
The top left corner water color spoke to me, reminded me of the trip we took to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium last year:
also I included a border arrows and most of the colors in the mood board less the pink.
My journaling for the layout :) Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff

At The Hive LO for Use Your Stuff challenge

Welcome to this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff.  We are finally seeing the seasons starting to change her in PA, and it was great to do a fun layout like this creating a project featuring flora and fauna.  In other words, create a project that includes plants and animals. I guess insects fall under animals :)
This was a bee hive we found in our yard in the tree out at the end of the yard. You can see it just barely but the flutter of the bee inside the hive in the 1st picture. There are black raspberries there by the tree a good source of getting what they need to put in their hive without going far. It'll be interesting if they are back again this year using that hive.
This was a great scraps layout as I used scraps for all the layout other than than the background paper. Thanks  for stopping by and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

Love Hoodies for Use Your Stuff Challenge

Good Morning and welcome to this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. This week's challenge is Hearts and/or Red/Pink. Lots of heart doilies and lots of red used on this layout:
I love Hoodies! I do they are nice an cozy, always have a front pocket to add anything I may need, usually my phone or my camera and they keep me warm. I will wear a hoodie sooner that I would a jacket, summer is the only time I don't wear them. Now I'm on the lookout for a Christmas Hoodie :)
The golden background paper came from my current counterfeit kit: Springtime Fresh and the prompt idea came from this month's LOAD event of Red Ruby Scissors. LOAD219 Day 7: Story: Scrap about a favorite wardrobe accessory or outfit or Technique: Use red and sparkle on your layout. So I got both prompts on my layout :) Lots of red and lots of sparkle :)
Thank you for stopping by today :) I look forward to seeing your take on this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff

I Wish... LO for Use Your Stuff Challenge

Hello and welcome :) It's a new week and last week of the month! Where the heck did January go. Lets start out this week with Use Your Stuff challenge blog. Karrie is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to use our Enamel Dots. I mainly just use them for scattering on my layout for that finishing touch :)
Still working with the photos I printed from our day at Knobel's in August. I was able to use these pictures for a LOAD1018 day 20 Show of the Day: Into the Woods (1987)
If I had more time I would have printed out the pictures from the play our local Co-op did for this play. The prompt for the day was Wishing as they characters kept wishing too so I used this for my title and I also drew upon the other prompt of the day being a scrapbook sketch challenge for inspiration. Sketch can be seen here www.pinterest.com/pin/11610911524793907/ Used last month's counterfeit kit: Falling For You for the layout I pulled from one paper pad I bought for the cut apart words for the layouts and the background paper :)

Using enamel dots in various colors around the layout
My journaling and very fast easy layout :) which I try to do for LOAD. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog

Silly Pup LO for Use Your Stuff challenge

Hello and welcome :) It's a new week and more challenges to come this week. Lets start out this week with Use Your Stuff challenge blog. Mayo is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to a Furry Friends challenge :) easy enough for me as I'm blessed with a furry pooch in the family. So now to choose a layout.
I decided to feature the layout I create during LOAD1018 Day 26: Show of the Day: Hairspray (2002) The challenge was to show off your hairstyle photos and stories or Freshen up your layout with a white background and and some bright letters like the Hairspray playbill.
I think I'm on prompt :) if were talking of hair :) Used the variety title for my layout and a fun page about our Silly Pup :) Used another layout from Janet's 4for4series (fall series) and my counterfeit kit for Sept 2018: Falling For You and some theme products too.
I did the bright variety of letters for my title, staying within the LOAD prompt
But feel that brushing Buddy's hair is right in prompt too as we're talking about Hair for the play Hairspray :)
Close up of my journaling for the layout. Had fun using a variety of bits and pieces on this layout too. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create for this fun challenge this week :)
