Song Sparrow layout for Lasting Memories challenge

Good Morning :) and welcome to the last challenge of the month over at Lasting Memories layout challenges:
Today we have a new challenge for the week. Our theme for March has been - March - National Month Of... and this week's challenge is:

LM #388 - Red Cross Month

Create a layout that has Red/White color scheme (can have the plus signs too that have been so popular lately) or if you ever did anything or received anything for the Red Cross tell us about that :)

I went with the Red/ White color theme:
This layout was created during LOAD218: Day 23: The prompt I chose was Where do you find art in your daily life? What is something that is beautiful and makes your life just a little bit nicer because of it?        Nature is God's Art and I look to it often for beauty and artsy appeal too :) Using my February counterfeit kit for this layout. Sparrows are one of the hardest of the birds that visit our feeders to identify, but with lots of sources I think I've narrowed this one down to be a Song Sparrow :)
Using of variations of Red and White to my layout. Red letters for my tile and a white pattern paper for my background
a project life card for my journaling and very limited on embellishments for this layout to make the pictures really shine. One thing about LOAD is I don't take the time to over think the layout so I can get it done very fast.
Love these pictures of this young bird in the feeder. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creations for this fun topic and thank you for playing along with my hosted month over at Lasting Memories layout challenges blog.

The ribbon and the the hat were sitting on my craft desk waiting for a card to use them for :)

Field Life layout for Use Your Stuff challenge

Good Morning and welcome to this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. Karrie has challenged us to: On the Border - Use Border Punches (or decorative scissors) on your project!!
I created this layout during a crop I was at andI used the zigzag embossed border punch from Martha Stewart on my leaves strip along the bottom of the layout:
This was after the Tactical Demo was over. WWII Revisited Living History Bivouac-WWII re-enactors portray field life, 1944-45. It was a very interesting exhibit, so much to see and to learn how they handled Field Life was pretty cool to see history in action.
Close up photos:

The left side of the layout, using sketch from an old magazine for the layout. I used my current counterfeit kit for the embellishing, but I used my 100 Pattern Paper challenge #2 pile for the papers.
This is the right hand side of the layout. I created alot of tags for this layout for the tag challenge over at Nicole Jones Scrap-A Thon class. Used one of the project life cards from last month's kit. Also the 5 stars cover the challenge for our Scrappin N Chattin group.
My journaling.
Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creation for the fun challenge :)

Create a Foodie layout - you can have food in the picture, in the paper, or in the embellishments
I just love to do foodie layouts, great to have the everyday happenings in my albums. This layout came about from LOAD1017 Day 16 prompt:
I’ve got a secret…
…to success – document something you are proud of accomplishing:
…to success – document something you are proud of accomplishing. Always proud each year what we get accomplished through the harvest season. Tomatoes this year (2017)- I had fun instagraming the process which helped with my journaling for this layout too.
Close ups of the layout. I went with a grid format cause of having so many pictures. I found that if I google the photo amount with the words scrapbook sketch I get lots of sketches to choose from.
My title block
My journaling.
Thank you once again for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge linked up over at Lasting Memories Scrapbook challenges.

Logistics layout for March Lucky Charms challenge #3

If you are looking for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog challenge #2 post you can find that here.

Good Morning again and welcome to the 3rd challenge for this month's theme over at Sketch N Scrap's  over on Facebook group and crop. The sketch:
No automatic alt text available.
and the layout I created with the sketch:

My title is the top photo, the Logistics. This was the final room to see at the PA Military Museum in Boalsburg. There is a story that I want to write for my journaling in that section between the stars and the Jeep that is why the Jeep had it's own page. See as Minneapolis Moline collectors we also know of a story about MM making the 1st Jeep, lol looks like everyone is involved in this cool vehicle cause everyone want to lay claim to it. So it is something that I want to take my time a bit to write it out on paper before adding it to the layout.
There is more information about the Logistics-branch of the Military that is on the adjoining layout to this layout that was blogged on Friday. The layout was also created with my current counterfeit kit: Florally Whimsy.

Susan has challenged us today with a sketch :) my favorite challenge is a sketch so easy to do and with the kit prepared ahead of time the hardest part is deciding which photos to use :) This was a very quick layout, I wanted to get away from vacation photos a bit and do some current photos that  took with my phone camera.
Here is the chosen sketch:

A fun sketch to use :) using papers, some washi tape, diecut title, felt doily and the wood veneers from my kit: Florally Whimsy this is what I did:

Noon layout

Good morning and welcome :) Today's layout is a combination of last month's counterfeit kit Pretty Little Pastimes and this month's kit Florally Whimsy.
This came about for the scrap-a-thon that Nicole Jones is doing (a class of her's for this month.) The focus was project Life cards and I got 5 of them on this layout. Used them mainly for layering. Using a scrap of paper from last months kit with the full background paper of this months kit for my base and the rest is project life cards from last months kit. Added the title and the 5 green puffy stars for the embellishing. That was it a simple layout for me to get done in a hurry and another for the Portersville, PA vacation trip.
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing your creations from your Counterfeit kit.

and this is what I created:
I've been created alot layouts this year with the goal of getting Vacations/Roadtrips done so been doing alot of double page layouts this year :) This sketch was so fun to use too. I loved adding the grid of photos to that empty spot in the left hand corner of the layout. Changed it up just a wee bit to add my title but stayed pretty close to the original sketch. Using paper from my 2nd 100 pattern paper pile for this layout and the project life card came from my counterfeit kit: Pretty Little Pastimes
Close up photos of the layout:
The left hand side of the layout
The right hand side of the layout
My journaling, plus I added some silver metallic thread to the layout

Close up of the grid of photos. I also added the information that we wrote down of the pictures
Thanks for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up to in my little corner of the world.
You have until the end of the month to play along with any - or all! - of our sketch challenges. Link up is over at Stick It Down. One winner from each sketch will be chosen and invited back as a guest designer. We also have Lottie Loves Paper sponsoring a prize for one random participant! CKC-March Kit Reveal-Florally Whimsy

Happy March! So glad to see February gone and welcome to the sun and hopefully warmer temps this month. Good Morning and welcome to March's Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog. You should have come to my stop from Margie: Margie's Blog, I'm looking forward to seeing what she came up with for her kit :)
Creatively, Susan has created a fun kit for our inspiration this month. She put it together based on the formula Jill Sprott used in her stash-busting challenge series.  You can read all about Jill's concept and formula here on her blog. I'm gonna have to go check out that formula :)
I just loved the earthy tones going on with this kit. I was drawn to the florals and the geometrics too and such sweet colors. So I went into my 100 pattern paper pile and come up with my kit

Florally Whimsy

I tried to stay with in the colors that Susan had, finding lots of papers in my pile that worked. I added lots of hearts and stars and some textures too.
My papers :) sorry about the sun coming through the curtains :) but so glad to see it. Going with blues, teals, golds, black n white, stripes in a variety of ways and diagonals too, Lots of florals, wood grains, dots, few words and grabbed a few scrap papers too. I come to find out I'm in need of vellum not many left in my stash.
Alphas: Seem to be drawn to browns this month and a couple of ones I would like to get used up if possible
Washi tapes, wood veneer, die cuts, chipboard, and grab those metal edge frames when I saw them they reminded me of the tags Susan had in her kit.
Felt, lots of die cuts and some puffy too with some twill I had gotten at Christmas time wrapped around some gifts :)
Thank you for stopping by today and now your off to instagram to see what kind of cool kit Laura has created from this sweet inspiration over at her instagram spot
and if you get lost here is the whole list:
