Sweet Adventure LO for Counterfeit Kit challenge

 Good Morning, wow we're already half was through February! Where is time flying too! Welcome to the 2nd challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog and our month's host is Misty and she has challenged us:

With hearts being an iconic shape for the month of February, we are going to be inspired by shapes. Use repeating shapes as a design element for your layouts: hearts, circles, squares, hexagons, triangles... any repeated shape counts!

 

 I used hearts for my inspired shape and what scrapper wouldn't love a day away and scrap! My layout is about the 1st time I went to Shelly's Scrapbook Retreat at the Linck Hill Inn

 

Using my kit Colossal and that heart cutfile plus some ribbon from my BASHket I created this fun layout of when I arrived and how inviting this place is! So many of the heart elements came from various forms from my kit: puffy stickers, enamels, sticker book (including the title). Just pure fun!

CKC - February 2022 Kit Reveal - Colossal

 Happy February! February is a LOAD month so I prepare for that with a huge kit :) First you should have arrived here from Tara's blog  I'm excited to see what she has put together this month. Mindy is our host this month, this being her 1st time she chose well and she chose this: 

 Master Forger Misty here! This is my first month hosting a kit here at CKC. I’m excited to bring you the Denim & Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit by Cocoa Daisy from February 2021. This kit is just a little different as it focuses on plenty of journaling cards and embellishments. I love the kit for it’s combination of rich and airy colors, its everyday life usefulness, and the slightest nod to the Valentine’s holiday. I hope you will find it as inspiring as I do.

 I was drawn to the colors of the kit and raided my stash pretty good to come up with this huge kit!

The papers, there is a total of 33 the last I counted and some may have slipped in since then. I've got a few challenges this month that will use up these papers wonderfully.
