Molly Moline

Well this is it for the day, I've got a crop to run off to. But I can say I got all the needed challenges done for Scrap our Stash-Stash A Thon :)
This was a letter that was featured in the Club newsletter and I used that note for the story about this tractor and his wife named the tractor Molly Moline I knew I could get away with adding a doily to this layout. The pictures were taken at the 2009 GSR show when they featured Minneapolis-Moline tractors and the PGR summer show. The letter was featured in a 2004 newsletter that is why I used that year on the layout.
Picture of the doily and key from the Sweet surrender line and the rhinestones from the Making Memories tape. You all have a fantastic day and I'll be back tomorrow with the layouts I did today at the crop.

The Tractors-GSR 2003

They always give away a little goodie bag to the exhibitors at the show. Usually it will have a pen, a pin, a ribbon and other little trinkets.
This layout has various pictures of the exhibited area, the main feature is the tractors. I did have alot of fun creating the titles for these layouts, when I decided to do this for the club a few years back, I have on tote bag dedicated to the club's stuff so I can quickly pull a scrap page together. Since there wasn't much out there on tractors when I first got started with the book I used my office program and photo shop elements to come up with the various titles and bits and pieces on alot of the layouts. It was fun last night to pull that bag out and work on some of the layouts :)
I didn't have the bag that was received at the show that day, but I used one from a Smash pack I got in a swap and I included the exhibitor ribbon coming out of the bag.

Opening page of the GSR 2003 Layouts

Here is the 1st page of the 4 layouts I did about this show.

This is the tells the story of the show, I added the fence sticker and the hay bales sticker from the Paper House-On the Farm sticker pack. Found the bows in my stash and they reminded me of bows that they use at fairs for the 1st place items, so thought this layout would be great for that, since it was a National Summer Convention show also.

Bushels of Fun at the Parade-GSR 2003

I'm back :) This post is the right side of the previous posted layout. This one features the other tractor pictures I received of the parade, the framed picture is a club member's son, Ben. It's fun to see him here at this age, now is a grown man married to a wonderful girl.
I used a Jolee's Celebrate dimensional sticker pack for the balloons and the other party elements

This is the frame picture with and included tractor crossing sign from the Paper House-On the Farm sticker sheet and a border of the glitter tape from Counterfeit Kit-Yes that tape is gone! It's fun working through my stash and using things up.
I thought this layout was fitting for the balloon themed challenge over at Scrap Our Stash since each picture has balloons in it that the spectators were holding.

The Parade-GSR 2003

Hello again
This layout is the left side page of a 2-page layout. These pictures are from the Grease, Steam and Rust annual show in 2003. This show is usually the last show of the antique tractor shows of the year. This particular year they were holding the PGR summer convention, I received the pictures from a fellow member as I was set up at another venue in the same town.
This layout had all members of the club on it. I added sequins from my stash to create the illiusion of a border in between the pictures. The Title card was printed from an office program and attached with SU glimmer basics brads. This is one of 4 layouts I made last night and because I wanted to make sure they qualified for the Stash a Thon you get to see them each in a separate post :)

MGCA 1st Annual Banquet

Good Morning you all and it's a bit of a dreary start to Saturday here in PA. Well it's down to crunch time for The Stash-A-Thon entries for the big 1 year party :) So I did up some really fast layouts to make it in time and since most are for the Club Album that I volunteer my time for, I didn't have to gussy up the layouts.
This was the very 1st banquet we had for our club, it's an annual banquet that we hold each around the day that we started the club. The club got started Nov 2002 and I joined June of 2003 in their charter year. Now how I became a fan of the Minneapolis-Moline tractors is another story for another layout. I have hidden the phone numbers of the officers. I used some of last month's Counterfeit Kit for this layout. I had a fantastic time at the banquet, being the first time attending something like this, it had a good old country feel to it. See you soon with another layout, it's gonna be a busy posting day.

Penn's Cave 2003

Hello and welcome, I've been working on Audit stuff for the club that my husband and I belong to so no crafting for almost a whole week (I feel like I'm on some kind of withdrawal :). We've been asked to help with the feature tractor next year at Penns Cave-Nittany Antique Tractor Show (It's one of the biggest in our area). So I thought I'd dig out the old scrapbook pages from the last time we were there as a group (me I worked that show as a vendor so I wasn't much help). It was fun to look back a bit.
The show was so big that the layouts were on 4 pages instead of 2. We had a good variety of tractors and hope to do that once again. Lot of the details come from other members and from our newsletter. It was nice to start this project for the club a historical picture album, that one volume is almost full. I'm looking forward to getting back into this album to work on it a bit. This is where sketches really come in handy cause there is now thinking, just putting it together.

I got over the next 2 weeks to get my own prepared, so crafting is going to be at a minimum, but I do have some obligations that I have to fill that will help with the withdrawal symptom...
Till then do you do anything particular hobbies with your hubby or other half?
