Disney Memories layout for Lasting Memories

I first want to wish all my blogger friends a Happy Easter .
Today the challenge over at Lasting Memories is Favorite Destinations and with that theme we have a sketch too that we needed to use:
Out of the places I have been, even on a cruise to the Caribbean twice, my favorite place to see is Disney World (I would like to see Disneyland at some point in my life yet). There is something magical about being at Disney. We went there for our Honeymoon, it's the one place that you can be an adult and have fun like a kid!  This was my 2nd trip there but my husband's first time and it was sure bliss to see the joy in his eyes. The sketch that we used:

I used my current counterfeit kit for the layout and grabbed my bag of Disney theme elements to dress up the layout.
This fun title came from a theme dimensional sticker pack from EK Success
More stickers from Sandy Lion sticker designs and the journal spots came from the CTMH Hopscotch paper pack I used. I used the cardstock from that pack also.
The border elements I did with more pictures and with some Disney buttons I had got in a swap box a long time ago and pulled it out for this layout. This was so fun to pull out some of my Honeymoon memories and get them scrapped. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you favorite destination too.

Girls Gettin Crafty Layout

Hi you all! Hope your having a fantastic Saturday :) Myself I got the Saturday cleaning to do as we get ready for family get together tonight for the Annual Campbell Easter Egg Hunt :) What are your plans for the holiday weekend? With working 3rd shit I'm lucky to get Easter night off and get to enjoy the day relaxing and maybe a bit of crafting too.
So this layout I did for the March Sketch over at Scrap Happy (The Lay out a Day personal group) Yep bit the bullet and joined, couldn't resist when they decided to make the May LOAD a one for members only thing. But this layout I made on March 31st with last month's counterfeit kit. I was glad to be able to use some of the project life cards that I had in the kit.
Here is the sketch:

I used the PL cards for 2 of the squares. Lots of scattered elements from the kit and got to use those fun paperclips for the first time :)
The PL cards are from my Chalkboard collection from We R Memory keepers. The big photo corner came a Heidi Swapp package
These are most of us local girls that get together once a month doing a project that one of the girls teaches. Where am I? I'm the one in the back row on the right hand side on the end (Notre Dame tee :)
This was Tina Peck's project a really cute Christmas Decorations and it was a blast to make and so easy. She had seen it on a card but decided to make the tree by itself as a decoration. I'll be making more and adding it to gifts this coming year for each of the families :)
Thanks for stopping by today and Have a fantastic Easter day or Passover day depending on how you celebrate it.

A Hello card for Anything Goes FFC

Good morning and welcome to my blog :) It's Friday and a special Friday indeed. Also it is Funday Friday too, the theme this week over at Jo's Scrap Shack is Anything Goes:
Our sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps and I used their Birds and Houses art files for my center art piece on my card. Here is a closer look:
I added CTMH liquid glass to the printout to make it look like a flair button and you really need to see it in person to see how pretty the details are of the art file.
I also used my April counterfeit kit for my card :) the bright colors added to the fun floral just says spring come on and get here! I used 3 Twenty Crafts: Strike A Pose stamp set for my sentiment of Hello on the card
I used the sketch over at Mojo Monday for the layout of the card:

The inside of the card I brought in more of the floral and that trim:

April Counterfeit Kit along with CKC

Hi you all! Well I took the time this morning to put my April kit together for the inspirational kit at Counterfeit Kit Challenge they used: A Beautiful Mess and they have a very fun kit called a Messy Box (we are doing the March one)

This is what I saw: Lots of Bright colors (Orange, Bright Gold, Bright Pink, Light Blue and Gray) and lots of B/W colors, Gold Alpha, Vellum cuts, Brads, Washi tape with writing on it, Transparency and lots of PL style cards. Bold designs and graphics, lots of Love and lots of words :) A little bit out of my comfort zone, but hey I'll git it a try :) So here is the kit I pulled and I call it : Mix and Mingle
Lots of bright papers, lots of washi tape, glitter tape, twine and fibers to use, Lots of Alphas, and a variety of embellishments. should be an interesting month to scrap and craft some cards :) Here is the breakdown in close up photos:
The papers I chose are really all over the place: Got some B/W sheets, geometrics in a various of colors, also pulled apart one paper pad to try to get most of that finished off this month (most of the paper is in the center row toward the right hand side) put in a couple of tiedye sheets too. Most of the paper comes from Die Cuts With a View, but there is the K&Company paper pad that I tore apart so can I eliminated from m stash and have it in the scrapbooks and some stray papers from different manufacturers.
I added what I had left of CTMH Ivy Lane paper pack, couple of papers from DCWV Rockstar (Master Forger Margie had that bold diagonal in her kit and I knew when I seen it that this kit was the perfect time to use that paper so I added it to mine too. My PL cards some from Midnight kit, some from Jade kit and some cut ups from Simple Stories Documented line. I also found this fun spray in a swap box I received it'll be interesting to see how well it works out.
The Alphas: a wide range of styles and I pulled all the gold ones I had besides a few other colors too.
Vellum to make some of the shapes that were in the inspirational kit and the one transparently it'll be fun trying to figure out how to use that
Variety of different embellishments: Old school smash tapes, and some color washi tapes too. ribbons, trims, stickles, glitter tape, flowers (with white brads), pearls, brads, studs, metals, felt and some lace too.
More embellishments: photo mats, frames for cards and LO, fabric art to make flowers, clear shapes, paper flower stickers, chipboard pieces, white stars, die cuts, embossing stencils and a fun stamp set from CTMH.
2 kits that I wanted to add cause the colors worked so well with this kit :) Arithmetic from Colorbok and Hopskotch from CTMH with a really fun stamp set too. Will be using the same distress stamps from last month's kit to ink these stamp up with. So that is the kit for the month :)  should be a colorful month to scrap :)

3 Cub Scouts

Hi you all, back again with another layout that I have to get posted so I can get it linked up in time for the challenge. These are three of my grandboys and this is the last picture of the 3 of them as Cub Scouts, Avery has since moved up to Boy Scouts, another layout for that will be coming later in the week.
I used the March 13th Sketch over at Scrap Much

I also used the layout with another challenge in mind from the Scrappin N Chattin yahoo group of All 3 challenge which this layout worked out so well for. The challenge was to use 3 plain cardstocks, 3 pattern papers, 3 pictures, 3 word title (one of mine is the actual number 3) and 3 embellishment pieces (the sequin stars) I did make more embellishments with the paper and punches.
I used papers from my counterfeit kit for the layout and pulled the needed plain cardstock from my stash, I was trying to stay with the cub/boy scout colors. The Alpha stickers are October Afternoon: Campfire sticker sheet
Up close pic of part of the 3 embellishment pieces (the sequin stars) and embellishments made with the paper and punches.
Thanks for stopping by again and I'll see you all soon :)

Awesome Ride Amazing View

Good Morning and welcome to a new month of challenges over at Lasting Memories. The theme for April is TRAVEL and this week's challenge is Mystic Mountains. We had taken a ride on the Susquehanna River (West Branch) by way of the Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat. With that ride you get a narrative story of the Susquehanna Boom that was made for the way of getting timber down river. Lycoming County is part of the Allegheny Mountain chain and the views of the mountains from the ride is just beautiful. I'm blessed to live in a valley city that is surrounded by the mountains so I see them every day through the changing of the seasons. Well the ride talks of the Lumber Era of the river and that Era made Williamsport the Lumber Capital of the world in the 19th century.
The layout of that ride that we took. Tammy and the kids were up for a visit and this was one of the planned activities, so glad I did plan this it was wonderful way to learn of our local history and the ride was fun and very relaxing. I used the 3-15-15 over at Let's Scrap for my layout:

I stayed pretty close to the sketch, but my pictures were going the other way I changed it up just a bit. I also wanted to add the picture of the boys having a bit of fun while we were waiting to board the boat:
The left side of the layout is a picture of the Riverboat, picture of the boys having fun while we were waiting to board. Picture of the boys on the boat, and the first picture taken when the ride had started up. Fun picture of Dave, Tammy, Britney and Brandon during the ride, funny that the guys are looking to see the boat operating in the water and girls are looking at the views.
The right side of the layout is a picture of all of us: Britney, Bradley, Brandon, me. Tammy and Dave. Nice that someone comes around and takes a picture of the families together on the boat. The other 2 pictures of the amazing views of the mountains.
I used my current counterfeit kit for the layout. I used some of the paper forom the CTMH Skylark kit and 2 of the leftovers from other projects (love to use scraps on layouts :) I used washi tape and the cut off pieces from the 12 X 12 sheets for the borders on the layout.
The title work was done with a variety of Alphas from my kit and from a Bo Bunny:Block Party sticker sheet (the red arrows and that corner piece that was cut from the arrows were from the sticker sheet too). The banner was made from SU little banner punch sewn with the sewing machine and added rhinestones to it.
Added more sewing to the other upper corner of the left hand side of the layout. More black washi tape for the border that was in the sketch.
I was smart enough to ask to keep my ticket so I had atleast one for a layout planning ahead. The bingo card I used for thee journaling spot and added some paper from a creative memories pack I have for the writing. .
Thanks for stopping by today and Lasting Memories have some fun challenges plan so get out those vacation photos and let us take a look at your creativeness this month, check it out there is a fun prize sponsor for this month too.

A Budding Artist

Good afternoon bloggers :) I hope you all are having a great day and just crafting away. I wanted to post this layout before I started on another layout. I've got some fresh current pictures so want to get them scrapped up this weekend if possible. These pictures I grabbed off facebook of my youngest grandson Tristan having fun at the daycare/babysitter that he attends so Katherine can work. Miss Kelly takes some fantastic pictures of the kids and is very interactive with them too.
It was fun to see pictures of Tristan just having fun :) I used Bo Bunny Weekend Market Collection for the layout. This was done for the Scrappin N Chattin Yahoo Group 24 challenge :) The sketch I used for the layout:
I turned it a 1/4 of a turn to work out for what I needed for the photos I used
A closer picture of the pictures
A smile any Grandma would love :) I'm glad that painting makes him happy.
The journaling block tells of the what Katherine said about the photos and when I saw it what I said :) Yep he can get inky with me anytime. Thank you and have a fabulous weekend :)

I'm entering this into the Scrap Our Stash Challenge: STENCIL
S: Sketch (used), Sticker (Alphas), T: Torn Edge, E: Epemera (Be You ticket, Journal spot), N:Number (Date),  C: Circle Sticker, I: Inked Edges, L: Layers of pattern paper, striped Line paper
