Christmas 2011 LO for Sketch n Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome :) Wow it's the middle of January already! Hows the goals going? I had a detour over the weekend with a cold, but this week I should be able to get right back on track.
Welcome to Sketch N Scrap's 2nd layout challenge for January,  Heather provided this fun sketch for us to use:
 No photo description available.
This is what I did with it :)
I came across some Christmas photos from 2011 so thought yep should get these scrapped :) This was from Christmas Morning of the boys :) Buddy getting noisy and Jake being patient. I changed it up a bit and added my journaling in the center. I used part of my current counterfeit kit: Christmas Joy and Muttcracker for the layout. Close ups below:
Buddy getting center of attention with Dad :) Then there is Buddy being noisy into his and Jake's gift
 More noisiness :)
 Jake waiting patiently

Pure Magic LO for Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1

Good Morning and welcome :) The 1st challenge for Counterfeit Kit Challenge is upon us for the month and Lisa has challenged us for the 1st challenge of the month with:
It's the New Year and a time to think about the classic saying
"out with the old and in with the new"!

Your challenge today is to check through your kits to identify the NEWEST and OLDEST items in there, and then use both of them on your project. Don't forget to let us know just how old these products are!

Let's see who's got the longest time difference!

Good Morning and welcome :) The 1st challenge for Counterfeit Kit Challenge is upon us for the month and Lisa has challenged us for the 1st challenge of the month with:
1st thing was too look through the paper to see what was the oldest, I already new what was the newest. I found some Basic Grey from 2010, The red glitter paper was from 2007 (when I started scrappin :) and the other paper is a Karen Foster Design paper with no date. Now the New stuff is the shiny gold enamel dots I got for Christmas. This was the starting basis of the layout:

The finished layout:
Used some of the other bits and pieces in my kit too :) The pictures are of myself and my grandson Zachary when he was just a year and half :) Christmas 2011. Glad to have this memory captured.
 My journaling
 Lower cluster
The middle cluster including a tag I made from that glitter paper :)
My title work with added strip of washi from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm creating in my little corner of the world :) I've come to find that I don't scrap many Christmas photos, but have lots of the in envelopes so thinking I better get to scrappin those photos I found, these are from 2011 and I don't think I was even considering doing a December Daily till 2012 so makes for some easy scrapping this month to get them done :)
Can't wait to see what you create for this fun challenge over at Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog, yes dive into that kit and look to see what the oldest is, it will surprise you :)

Winter Wonderland layout

Good Morning and welcome :) This is the other layout to the one I created and posted yesterday, this is the next day of the storm.
Can see pretty clear in the daylight we got smacked with a bunch of snow that November :) a 2 day storm dropped 10.6" of snow. Using up a CTMH collection Frosted collection, used the last of the pattern paper scraps when I created this layout. The paper is from 2013 and the pictures are from Nov 16, 2018.
My journaling sums up the last of my thoughts of the storm, adding a bit of washi here and there and some teal color shine splatters to finish off the layout. From my November Counterfeit kit: Everyday Insight just another insight to one of the days in my life :)
This was the last layout I created in 2019 :) finishing off the year with 204 layouts, 1 more layout than what I did the year before. Now the duty of sorting them and putting them away :) yes not the fun part of scrapping but something that needs done. Have a good day and I thank you for stopping by today and seeing what I'm up too in my little corner of the world.

The Double Page sketch:
this is the layout I created with this fun sketch:
Nice to be scrapping some holiday photos from past years :) these are from 2017.  Pictures with Brad's family December 26th.
This is the left side of the layout using my current counterfeit kit: Christmas Joy. Just about spot on with that side of the sketch,
Close up of the picture of use with the grandboys and used a fun vellum piece on my layout with the tag and brad.
The right side of the layout has more pictures from the evening, more of Tristan that of Zachary thinking with all the action going on I must have been getting lots of blurry photos that night.
Close up of some journaling strips that I cut from a scrapbook paper from my November counterfeit kit: Everyday Insight and the diecuts and puffy stickers from my current kit :) It was a fun layout to create :)
Thank you for stopping by today to see what I'm up to in my little corner of the world. I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch over at Stick It Down challenge blog

BRRR layout for Use Yoyur Stuff challenge blog

Good Morning and welcome to the 1st challenge of the new year over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog. We got some changes going on over there:

A new change for this new year as well...Our challenges will be running for 2 weeks each..that means there will only be 2 challenges each month (one from each team) rather than 4!

This challenge will run from Monday Jan 6th until Saturday Jan 18th!  Lots of time to get your entries in!  Enter as many times as you would like but please no backlinking and make sure that you tag UYS in your post for our challenge as well.

We have a super easy challenge to start you off...it's ANYTHING GOES!  Create anything you want - but try to use some of that older stuff you have in your stash, not the new product you got for Christmas!! :)

Finishing off 2019 trying to use up a CTMH collection Frosted I created this layout. The paper is from 2013 and the pictures are from Nov 15, 2018.

My journaling about the storm. I love the way this layout turned out and was so glad to get this collection bashed and out of my stash. From my November Counterfeit kit: Everyday Insight just another insight to one of the days in my life :)
This was the beginning of this storm and the pictures here are from the 1st day of it, I did a single layout of the next day of this storm, you'll have to come back tomorrow to see that layout. I look forward to seeing your creation for this fun challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

Merry Christmas card for Sketch~N~Scrap challenge

Good Morning and welcome to the blog!  Welcome to the 1st card sketch over at Sketch N Scrap. This fun sketch I used to create a Christmas card, imagine that :) Lots of Christmas scraps still on my desk and as I'm out of Christmas cards it's a good idea to start there.
No photo description available.
This is the card I created from this fun sketch:
Loved the way this card turned out and using the blue base matches with the sentiment that I had already had stamped and on my desk.
I have pulled in a catch box this year for my scraps on my desk to live in and will use that periodically to create from. As I'm creating Christmas all month this month with my Dec Daily and my Christmas layouts I will use stuff from this box quite often :)
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create from this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap

Happy is the Heart at Home

Good Morning and welcome :) Got my 1st layout done for 2020 and what better way to start off the new year that with my favorite pooch Buddy. Using the January 1 sketch over at Sketch N Scrap
No photo description available.
I had fun creating this fun layout of Buddy opening up his gift from his Aunt Patty (my sister)
Choosing a Non-Traditional color scheme I went with a challenge over at The Secret Not Secret Kit Club FB group and used Amy's Mood Board challenge for my colors. I used my November Counterfeit Kit: Everyday Insight and used up some of the home accents that was in that kit. That golden yellow paper for the background is a very old EK Success paper from Build a Page papers. I wanted to create atleast 1 more layout with this kit before putting it away :) but I just may do 1 or 2 more yet with it before getting into the Christmas paper.
Thanks for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch over at Sketch N Scrap challenge blog
