This weeks challenge: Valentine's Day. My card was made from a card cut file at the Silhouette Store:
I used my February Counterfeit Kit for the card, the red and pink cardstock is My Mind's Eye Abbey Road collection. I used 3 Twenty Crafts stamp set Winter Wonderland for all those stamped arrows in the pink border making it look like rockets shooting upwards.
A closer shot of the stamp images, 3 Twenty Crafts stamps are so unique and so fuctionable to be used for more than just what it was created for. The sentiment was printed from the computer on white cardstock. I will be using this card for an extra special day. The inside of the card:
Plenty of room to write a little love note to the hubby.

Twix-Make Your own Twix

Hi you all and welcome back to another Throwback Thursday. Today is a 6 X 6 recipe card I made for the March 2013 swap:
I'm telling you they really do taste like Twix Bars. These make for a great snack in the summer or a nice gift at Christmas to give away. I got the recipe from the PeppermintPlum.blogspot.com. I used Que Sera Sera paper pack from K&Company for the base. Staples cream cardstock for the recipe print out. Used Martha Stewart Double Edge Punch: the Double Link Trim punch, a dazzle flower circle and a Rhinestone in the center of the flower.
It is a fantastic recipe give a try the rich ad crisp cracker base and top gives it the buttery taste. Thanks for stopping by today, hope your enjoying Throw Back Thursdays. Have a fabulous day.

CKC-February Project Life Forgery

Hi you all,
Got my whole kit figured out for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge-Project Life choice:

And this is what I created: A little more bolder than their kit:
Their kit had 3-12 X 12s plus a kraft cardstock sheet in it, not sure why guess to create your own cards. If you went to the actual kit's site the first paper that came up is one full of arrows that is why the arrows paper is in it. It was fun to translate the kit to find out exactly what was in the kit.
Since they didn't show any other of the 12 X 12 paper I drew in the Stars paper and used alot of circles they had to bring in the other sheets of paper.
The kit consisted of  light blues and the whites and the kit had (6) 4 X 6 pcs (I'm thinking a couple were for the title page) and (24) 3 X 4, enough for 4 weeks of crafting. I pulled in the blues, greens, golds and tans (to work with the cinnamon core kit). I pulled in a variety of designs: chevrons, dots and stripes
The kit had 2-badges/flairs, 1 alpha, 1 washi tape, 1 rub-ons, 10 mini veneers and 1/2 pack of enamal dots.
I pulled in 2-alphas, 3 washi tapes, pack of rub-ons to use, the flair buttons, the veneer pack and 2 packs of enamel dots.
They also had stamps, which I have but at the moment I can't show them. You can see those next week during the blog hop for 3 Twenty Crafts new release stamps. It'll be fun to get back into Project Life, life has been so busy that I haven't had a chance to enjoy the weekly crafting of project life.
Wow 2 posts in one day, you all have a great night and stop back tomorrow for Throwback Thursday.

Workplace Wednesday-2-12-14

Good Afternoon,
Brrrrr today started off with some cold temperatures:

Welcome to another Workspace Wednesday? I'm kinda liking this day of the week, I can show you all a preview of what is ahead on the blog. It was nice to jhave all the bookkeeping stuff off the desk and preping some crafting stuff for the rest of the week. Oh I still have book keeping to do but I'll do that at the kitchen table now in the mornings till our appointment.

So this is what my workspace looks like this morning:

Last night, all that was on TV was repeated TV shows, so I was in the craft room. February Counterfeit Kit Challenge also had a Project Life kit to forge so I was working on that last night gathering up the supplies. I'm  planning to work on, a couple of weeks of PL, this weekend. So here is a partial of what the kit looks like. I will be showcasing some new stamps with the page spreads to the stamps are hidden at the moment. Planning to pull the rest of the kit together today.

This is the other side of the desk, I usually have my laptop right in the center of the desk when I'm crafting. I have a paper pad and a stamp set for a project that I will be doing for Friday, I also have my cinnamon edition of PL out, that is my core kit this year for PL and want to make sure that what I pull in to use with it will work. the plastic container holds the items pulled for Jan CKC that wasn't used (note: Needs to be put away :) The stack of card stock, ink and punch is out so I can have it handy when I type up my blog spots for I think 3 different crafts. Also, my notebook is there for my notes of what I crafted and pertinent details and some scrap notes that need to be transferred into the notebook (this is my way of staying some what organized-so I know what I have posted and what I haven't. Country Life cartridge  and the Graphically Speaking cartridge just didn't get put away yet :)

So that is what I'm working on at the moment, kinda of enjoying Wednesdays off from work too. Was able to catch up with laundry today, chose a ton of designs from the Silhouette store for upcoming projects.

What's on your desk today?
Have a fabulous day

Penn's Cave 2003

Hello and welcome, I've been working on Audit stuff for the club that my husband and I belong to so no crafting for almost a whole week (I feel like I'm on some kind of withdrawal :). We've been asked to help with the feature tractor next year at Penns Cave-Nittany Antique Tractor Show (It's one of the biggest in our area). So I thought I'd dig out the old scrapbook pages from the last time we were there as a group (me I worked that show as a vendor so I wasn't much help). It was fun to look back a bit.
The show was so big that the layouts were on 4 pages instead of 2. We had a good variety of tractors and hope to do that once again. Lot of the details come from other members and from our newsletter. It was nice to start this project for the club a historical picture album, that one volume is almost full. I'm looking forward to getting back into this album to work on it a bit. This is where sketches really come in handy cause there is now thinking, just putting it together.

I got over the next 2 weeks to get my own prepared, so crafting is going to be at a minimum, but I do have some obligations that I have to fill that will help with the withdrawal symptom...
Till then do you do anything particular hobbies with your hubby or other half?

1st Post for Jo's Funday Friday Challenge-Anything Goes

Hi  you all and a happy Friday to you! This is my first design post for Funday Friday Challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack. Our theme for today is Anything Goes, I like when I can create anything just so many choices :) Our sponsor is Paper Nest Dolls and that is where my digi came from for today. This is Graduation Owen:
I chose to use Owen as my image for my card as I thought I would get a head start on Graduation cards. This is one of the few times I actually colored my image (hopefully I'll improve as I go.) ( I learned that there is cardstock better suited for digi printing :) I watched a few tutorials on coloring after I did this, so figuring I should improve, ha I guess you can teach an old one new things :) The card's background and frame came from my Counterfeit Kit and worked out great for the card. I also used Stampin Up Whispering White for the printed image and used a variety of markers to color Owen. I used teeny tiny wishes from SU for the sentiment and I did that on a Spellbinder Ribbon Banners die cut that was inked with SU Brocade Blue and popped up. Added blue ribbon from my stash and framed the image with washi tape from my collection.

Peanut Butter Cup S'more Bars

Hi you all and welcome to another Throwback Thursday, today we have a recipe that I made for the recipe swap February 2013.
This recipe card was a lot of fun to create. I used Que SeraSera paper pack from K&Company for the card base.
Found thee recipe in a newspaper I'm thinking and I used cricut Block Party cartridge to make the S'mores.
I cut the hand portion of the s'more from black cardstock
the hand, marshmallow and twig all came from the Natural paper pack
The die cuts were cut at 3" and the recipe was printed on white cardstock
Sure made a mess in the kitchen but they were so good

Thanks for stopping by the corner of my world today, have a fantastic day....
