Good Morning to you :) Today is a new week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog, challenge #251. Tammy is hosting this week's challenge and it's a bingo challenge. She thought it might be fun to play a bit of Bingo as we scrap. So her
challenge is to use the BINGO card below as you create your
project....you need to use any line horizontal, vertical or diagonal or
you can use the 4 corners! Be sure to tell us which line you used in
your project!
I used the bottom row: Journal Card (2), wood veneer (2 hearts and an
arrow), Ribbon (used up that blue ribbon) Embossing (dry embossing on
the circles):
This is also a layout that was created for LOAD217 Day11: Scrapbooking Olympics: We were challenged to 1. Use a Title, 2: Use for colors, 3. Use some type of wood, 4. Use a circle (or 5), 5. Use a number in your journaling. So this was cool that both challenges played off each other :)
Challenge: Use a title: Funshine Use 4 colors: Pink, Black, Blue and Yellow (White as a neutral), Use some type of wood: Wood veneer in 3 places (hearts and arrow), Use a circle (or 5) 5 circles on my layout, but the pattern paper has lots of circles on them :) Use a number in your journaling. The ages of both girls at various times with in the time span of the pictures.
Our Great-Granddaughters, from South Dakota, enjoying a bit of the summer. Were to far away to visit them at this time in our lives with working and all but it's nice to see these kinds of photos of the grands on facebook
I was able to use both last month's counterfeit kit: Glacially Toasted (that pink flower background and the black/white polka dot paper; I used my current kit: A Few of My Favorite Things: the PL cards, the pink dotted paper, the yellow paper and the circles came from various papers from the 6X6 paper pad. I used up the blue ribbon too that I had for both my kit and my challenge over at the 100 Pattern Paper Challenge facebook group. With the leftover papers lots of cute cards are on the way this week for up coming birthdays in April.
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope to see your creation to this fun challenge linked up this week over at Use Your Stuff challenge blog.

Not Your Momma's Cooking for a Lasting Memories Challenge
Good Morning and welcome to the blog today, it's a bit chilly and rainy here in PA today. A typical winter were having this year, one day it's hot and the next it's chilly and then you have the snow mixing in once in a while too. We ended up with 6" of snow on Thursday, today it has all just about washed away and it is rainy, prayers that the water stays in the banks of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. Something we do quite often is keep an eye on the river during times like this. So that is it in my life at the moment, we celebrated the Great Granddaughter's birthday yesterday, Sabrina had a fantastic birthday party for them and was fun to be there to celebrate with them. I've been staying busy with LOAD217 so that is why it's been a bit quiet here on the blog. Will catch you up soon with the layouts I've been scrapping, some are for challenges around blogland so I need to get them posted soon don't want to try to do them all up at the end of the month like I normally do :)
So today is Lasting Memories new week's challenge Celebration of Love So many possibilities here. Don't be afraid to branch out. Have fun with this one.

Love of this wonderful hobby is where I was dicided to go this time for this challenge, as it is LOAD month for me I thought a LOAD layout would be appropriate and one of the fun things about a membership at ScrapHappy.org is that there is a members only LOAD in October and this past October was a fun one. At the end of most of the LOADs some of us do a round up page and that is my layout for today is the round up page for the October LOAD1016:
The rest of the project life cards was used here for the daily themes of the LOAD month.
My own journaling about the month here.
I found this fun apron brad in my stash with those hearts thought that it worked out well for this layout as it had a cooking flair about the theme of the layout and the hearts are for my love of scrapping.
A fun little cluster in this section of the layout

Looking forward to seeing what you create for this fun challenge of Celebration of Love (so many sometimes it's hard to choose, but choose something and get it on that scrapbook paper :)

February Counterfeit Kit Challenge
Hello and welcome once again. If you are looking for the for Stick It Down you can find it here.
If you are looking for the post for Use Your Stuff you can find it here.
Hello :) Yes I did get something pulled together for the February Counterfeit Kit Challenge over at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog. They are having some new things happening over there this month and worth checking out. If you been wanting to try out the challenge the new mini kit challenge maybe the way to go. Myself that would be hard for me to pull together unless I used the challenge to pull a page kit together :) So me I made a medium kit size for me as I am also working with my The Perfect Collection kit that I made doing Shimelle's class. It's LOAD month so I'm not worried about using it up. From last month I have a few pieces left of the papers that I made into page kits to be used this month too.
Our inspiration this month comes from a Dutch Company Scrap Delight:
This is what I came up with
A Few of My Favorite Things:
I knew that I had a Close To My Heart kit that matched the inspirational kit and used that to get me started. It's one of the Picture Me Life kits so I got all the Project Life cards I need, I added Simple Stories So Fancy, anothe Close To My Heart card kit Laughing Lola that had the purples in that to get the card kit used up and out of my stash, added what I had left in the Simple Stories Home Spun for the yellows that was added in the kit and some extra papers from my stash.
The papers on their own
The Alphas
The Embellishments (A Few Of My Favorite Things are in this kit hence the name of the kit as purple is my favorite color)
Added some ribbons too, this came about from the 100 Pattern Paper Challenge FB group challenge this month and made sure to add ribbons that would work with this kit :)

101st Pennsylvania Farm Show
Good Morning and welcome once again. If you are looking for the post for Use Your Stuff you can find it here.
Stick It Down's February Double Page Sketch:
This is the layout I created with this sketch:
We went to the Farm Show this year and had what my hubby called a Date Day together. It was a way to get out of the house and enjoy some time together. Seemed a bit smaller this year than it had in past years that we went, but we had a good time.
The left side: I used the photo in the middle for my title, added the ticket we got that day for our vehicle parking. Saw the agricultural exhibits and the FFA exhibits. Nice to see the old tractors and a fun ride for the kids.
The right side of the layout had some various photos of around the Farm Show. (Lots of photos that need scrapped yet-future layouts)
The journaling
Fun closeup of the both of us checking things out, they also had selfie spots so I took advantage of one of them.
I cut up some pieces of the brochure to get the tags over the pictures for the various times of things at the show.
We had a fun day, I used my January counterfeit kit: Glacially Toasted. Thank you stopping by and I look forward to seeing your double page creation over at Stick It Down

Prime Select Wine for LOAD Day 4
Good Morning and welcome :) Well LOAD is in full swing and I have been busy make a Layout each Day so far in February. This year I was privileged to be one of the designers for a layout for the month and today is my first DT layout for LOAD. For all information about the 217 LOAD
you can find it at Scrap Happy Today's Prompt is:
I used a paper from my 100 pattern paper challenge plus some scraps from that same pile. the date came from stickers that were in my Jan. CKC: Glacially Toasted kit. The wood veneer is from my "BASH"kit. Cool to have so many things available and at my finger tips to grab when needed :)
you can find it at Scrap Happy Today's Prompt is:
Day 4. Celebrate/Dionysus
Dionysus
is a son of Zeus and the god of wine and theatre. He taught farmers to
grow vines, pick grapes, hold them for ripening and press them into
wine. As god of wine and theatre Dionysus enjoyed a good celebration.
What is something you’ve celebrated recently? (or go back and tell a story of a great celebration from your past)
This is how I interrupt it:
When I read the above prompt I knew the exact pictures I wanted to scrap, now where are they! Through one afternoon I located these pictures (and a lot more to scrap in the future :) of my husband pressing grapes to make homemade wine. Here are some close ups and the journalingI used a paper from my 100 pattern paper challenge plus some scraps from that same pile. the date came from stickers that were in my Jan. Happy Day for an SNS Sketch Challenge
Good Morning and Happy February! Wow really it's February already! Today Lisa has a fun layout sketch for us to play with over at Sketch~N~Scrap, sketch #122:

This is what I created from the sketch:
These were the extra pictures that day and made for a a final cool layout, it was a full day and the previous 2 page layout can be found here. I do like to jump around when I'm scrappin :) I used last month's counterfeit kit: Glacially Toasted for the layout. This one had been planned for awhile cause the Happy Day title block was in the envelope with the pictures :) This was just a few days after Zachary's 1st Birthday and Brad was in for 2 weeks before being shipped back over to Afghanistan to finish his tour. He had a full calendar for those 2 weeks but it was great to get to spend some time with him and the family.
The journaling was put on this fun journaling block that came with the other chipboard pieces on the layout (just 2 more pieces to go on that sheet :)
A super sweet picture of Dave with Zachary, that 1st year there weren't to many pictures of them together unless Zachy was crying.
3 Generation picture in the middle of the guys. Son, Grandson and Father/Grandpap
The final embellishment cluster that was on the sketch. It was a Happy Day that day. Thanks for stopping by and look forward to seeing what you create for this sketch challenge.
