Enjoyin Christmas Presents

Hi again :) Gonna be a busy blogging day today to get all the challenges up and posted :) This layout is Day 16 of LOAD215, it was Monday: Family Favorites and the prompt was to link up holidays with books, holiday celebrations or a book that talks about the holidays. You need to make a connection of the holiday with the book so this was my connection:
We got a few books for Christmas, Dave got 2 and I got 1 and as you can see Dave is already enjoying one of his books.
I used the sketch at Sketch N Scrap for this layout:

The fun corner spot was already there on the paper, I just added more snowflake sequins, papers ad the fun cardstock word art.

and a closeup of the bottom corner elements. I used paper from Dec counterfeit kit and the red striped circles came from the current kit. Love that I was able to pull off a current Christmas layout for this prompt. Thanks for stopping by, see you soon :)

    Another fun layout Tina, I love that you thought to get pictures of your books and then of Dave reading his book! I so love to ready, but my favorite place to read is outside. Not sure why, but I just love to kick back and read out side, soaking up the sun on my legs. lol I read in the winter, but only a little. That may change now that we don't have kids around in the house. I will have to remember to get some pictures of books that I'm reading. Love this idea! Hugs, Brenda
