Prompt:
Gone With the Wind – 1939
“As God is my witness, I’ll never be hungry again!” Inspired by Scarlett’s vow, this is a food prompt! Because she didn’t have much food, you are on a “starvation diet” to tell your food story. Use only three colors, two embellishments, and a one-word title.
The 3 color I used was Brown, Blue and Red. I used Brads and Chipboard for my 2 embellishments and the 1 word title: CHEESY. I used a cooking papers and props for my foody layout. but I did use that maroon pattern paper from my current counterfeit kit: Nature's Party for the layout as well as brads from my 100 Pattern Paper facebook group challenge a few months ago that has been sitting on my desk to get used up :)
I used the May 1-7 sketch over at Sketches in Thyme:

The recipe and the scattering of the brads in the 3 choosen colors
Found a fun vellum quote in blue to use too for the layout. Thanks for stooping buy once again to see what I'm up too in my little corner of the world.
Great layout but now I'm hungry. I love casseroles and especially cheesy Mexican ones, this looks fantastic. I'm going to have to try it.

ReplyDeleteOh I am loving this layout as well Tina! I just love when recipes are put into the scrap album and this one looks pretty darn good! The papers and colors you used are great and I love the brads sprinkled around like that. Well done! Hugs, Brenda
