- Challenge #1 Ugly Sweater Inspiration - do you love them or hate them? Let those big shapes and bright colors take center stage on your projects!
- Challenge #2 Angled Backgrounds - create an angled background for your project
- Challenge #3 10 Minute Craft Dash - time yourself ... you have TEN MINUTES to make a card!
This layout emphasis is my Husband and the reasons why I love him and these are a few of them. So I dug and dug for pictures today to make the layout (really need to figure out an organized way to keep photos). These are just some of my favorites of him, I had a stack of pictures that were more than I could hold on this layout :)
Some closer shots of the layout:
Left side is made up of one piece of 12 X 12 that was actually cut to get some pieces for the angled background so I grabbed the natural dotted cardstock from my stash to make it a 12 X 12
The right side held most of the pictures and the some of the reasons why I love my husband

Stop by again soon, I finished up another scrapbook layout over the weekend with the kit and I want to tackle that 10 min card too.
I love the combination of papers you used for your background, and the washi in the corners adds extra angles! :o)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great layout, look forward to seeing the card :)
ReplyDeleteooo, love layouts that are all soppy and romantic like this ! Great take on the angles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tribute to your hubby - love the angled papers
ReplyDeleteBold, bright and oh so colourful, what a great way to celebrate your DH. The angled challenge seems to have inspired everyone the most so far on the hop.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, I really like how the angles help guide us down the page even though they are horitzontal. And the companion page will all those photos is fab too.
ReplyDeleteI love the way all the patterns work together, with the angled design creating a sense of fun and movement :o)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet of you to document what a treasure your husband is to you. Wonderful topic for February!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great background and an abundance of photos used too.
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, Tina. Love the mix of pattern papers for the background and what a selection of pictures.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet idea for a page, and you've chosen your papers really well for a soft yet masculine layoute!
